I am SICK of these lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how about you?
I'm sick of listening to the lies. I'm sick of reading the lies. I'm sick of trying to refute the lies.
Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11. Saddam and OBL hated each other. Saddam was an asshole, but there are a LOT of assholes out there.
Telling the truth is not treasonous. It's telling the truth. Something more politicians should try now and again.
The "liberal" media is anything but liberal. It's beholden to the advertisers, who have their OWN ****ing agenda. It's entertainment, and not even GOOD entertainment. It's not remotely connected to the truth anymore. It's all about ratings, and ratings are all about commercials, and commercials are all about corporate advertising. It's a no brainer.
People need the help of their community to succeed. There's no such thing as bootstrap levitation. No man or woman is an island, and without community support, people are lost...or crawl off into the woods to mail letter-bombs.
Everyone deserves decent healthcare, and socialized medicine actually works! The ONLY flaw in the system at that point is if fewer people can afford to become doctors because they go into debt trying to pay their way through medical school on student loans.
What part of "you can't fight an enemy you can't even identify" don't these people get? Not all Iraqis, Arabs, or Muslims are the enemy. The enemy is a mindset--and it's the same goddam mindset our current government seems to embrace. Violence is rarely an answer to anything without sincere attempts at diplomacy and compromise to go along with it.
People who've never been to war should not be allowed to play army with REAL SOLDIERS.
Gay marriage is only a threat to people who don't understand that marriage is a partnership, not a ownership contract.
The PEOPLE own themselves--their bodies and souls do not belong to the State, their employers, their church, or anyone else.
Freedom of speech is sacrosanct. Mess with it at your peril.
We OWN the government. Not the other way around.
You can oppose abortion or effective birth control and sex education. Pick one.
If I want to hear about Jesus, I'll ask.
Higher wages for the lowest classes means more money to spend. More money for the upper classes means LESS money spent. Which do you really think stimulates the economy?
Marx called religion "the opiate of the masses." These days in America, it's probably sports. Religion is more like a hullucinogen.
"Don't do drugs. Except these. And these. And these. And these."
"Alternative energy is a pipe dream." Yeah, kinda like the moon landing.
"America. Love it or leave it." You first.
The Death Penalty is retroactive abortion.
If this administration gave a SHIT about education, they'd fund it. Talk is cheap. Education isn't.
People shouldn't have to go deep in debt just to become more productive members of society.
Minimum wage jobs do not contribute to the tax base.
A stellar teacher is worth a hundred times more than a sports star. It would be nice if they made even a tenth of the salary.
A tiny fraction of the population is getting a free ride on everyone else's labor. And complaining about everyone else while they're getting it. Must be nice.
"Freedom isn't free." As soon as someone explains to me how killing and dying in a dusty place across the ocean contributes to OUR freedom, I might be inclined to agree. Near as I can tell, with illegal wiretapping, illicit surveillance, and 'free speech zones,' we're paying one hell of a high price for increased restrictions on freedom. Tyranny isn't free either, apparently.
What makes some people think big business is more benevolent than 'big government?' Were they repeatedly dropped on their heads when they were little?
Okay, I agree with you. Bush isn't stupid. He's just an asshole. Feel better?
If unscrupulous employers didn't HIRE illegal immigrants, they wouldn't be rushing the borders. Who do you think's really to blame? People who will risk everything to have a better life, or those who already have everything but want cheap labor to exploit so they can have more?
The political divide in this country will never be healed as long as people like Ann Coulter are running around spewing shit. Maybe if she actually ate something once in a while she wouldn't be so damned nasty all the time.
Hey, if the CEO of Pollution Inc. wants to take a crap in the corner of his own living room, that's okay with me. But the minute he tries to crap in my house, I'm going to smack him in the head with a big stick. I don't care WHO his friends are.
I'd rather be friends with a spotted owl than an ignorant logger.
I'm more worried about Grand Theft America than Grand Theft Auto. Call me crazy.
I don't know if this administration had anything to do with 9/11. But I do know they've screwed up just about everything they'd done since. I've never seen any bunch of people more deserving of walking papers in my entire life. And I've worked with some real losers.
If we're depending on the Supreme Court to defend the Constitution, we are in some DEEP shit.

60. Umm...not to be difficult,
but this is mine.
Glad to see it on the top spot again, but my name is conspicuously absent.
An oversight, perhaps?

^5 for bringing Mythsaje, the fantasy writer whose stories more or less put Dick Cheney in Darth Vader's suit, into focus again. What a ****ing loser. Anyone wanting a closer look at him and his lunatic wife, see here. Don't say you weren't warned. (http://www.facebook.com/saje.williams)

Well now, the boy had talent.
Just not the talent he wanted to use.
The maudlin waif could've been a great "man-on-the-street" raconteur, human-interest stuff, but he choose to use his pen and paper and hopes on writing stupid "fantasy" stuff and politics.

They all love fantasy and scifi, coach. I have no idea what it is with them. All of their stories, moreover, essentially involve putting the Bush regime in charge in a remote galaxy, and they (the DUmmies) as protagonist enjoy the plot and character arc of sending them to Xorg Court 312A, better known on Earth as The Hague.

It's because, in those fantasies, they matter to other people. IRL? . . . Not so much.

Plus I suppose they do have to travel to another dimension to escape the greasy Cheeto dust on their fingers that causes them to drop their light sabers just when Dark Overlord Bushitler challenges them to a fight to the death. I can see that.

Yeah, you're right about that.
But if the maudlin waif primitive would've taken franksolich's advice and counsel given him, oh, I dunno, maybe four years ago?, and done some of this other stuff, by now he could've quit his job on the receiving dock of Target and lived on what he earned as a writer.
Geezuz, the maudlin waif primitive was even, among other things, a carnie; I'm sure he had a lot of rich literary material in those experiences.
But did the maudlin waif primitive pay any attention to franksolich?
N-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o.
I've been detecting a pattern here for a few years now; bad things seem to happen to primitives who don't pay attention to franksolich's advice and counsel.

Their bouncies and military heroics are proof of that.

Mythsaje already has a claim to literary fame - he's any of the male characters in Knockemstiff, a book about drug-addled, hopeless characters and their bleak lives. (http://www.amazon.com/Knockemstiff-Donald-Ray-Pollock/dp/0385523823)

Plus I suppose they do have to travel to another dimension to escape the greasy Cheetos dust on their fingers.....
See, that's the bitch of it.
The maudlin waif primitive was one of the very few--about as scarce as 1804 silver dollars--primitives who actually worked for a living, and honored his commitment to his two young sons despite divorcing their mother.
You got to admit that's a pretty rare primitive.
The maudlin waif primitive lives somewhere up over by Sherlock Judy the grasswire primitive, and our own delilahmused, way over there in northern Oregon.
He works on the receiving dock of a Target discount store, and lives frugally.
If Sherlock Judy had carried out her plans to open up that pie-and-jam shoppe, she was going to charge the maudlin waif primitive five bucks for a slice of pie, so she could give away free pie to the likes of the already-affluent Die alte Sau and Pamela, charging the poor more so the rich could dine free.
And they'd probably get bigger slices than him, too.

greenbriar has been banned.
I wonder how much it cost her to get reinstated?
I would have loved to have read that plea.
-
What I find amusing is the overwhelming majority of people who didn't realize it was plagiarised.

I would be tempted to donate to the fund, just to watch the explosion at the other end. :-)

That fund is long gone.
Since this incident Greenbriar has had two namechanges, almost killed at the landrymat, attempted to steal food from the poor, had her daughter, Holi run off and get married at 18 to get out of the home, kicked her lush of a husbands drinking buddy to the curb, who may have died, been on several cruises, lost her job only to get reassigned to the prison educational dept., bought a Glock and pink Charter Arms revolver to protect her from rethugs and countless other mindless endeavors.

Oh yeah I remember the plagiarizing primitive doing this. :rotf:
greenbriar had to be one of the biggest morons to ever walk the planet to think it was possible to get away with gross plagiarism during the age of the internet.

I remember that...stupid is :cheersmate: as stupid does.

Did she ever offer any excuses or apologies?

DUmmy mythsaje didn't just write scifi.
He wrote stories of intergalactic vampire sex crimes investigators.
His web page used to have excerpts, and they were hilarious.
In one of his photos, he was in his kitchen, where there was a big rotted hole in the ceiling from a long term leak in bathroom above.
DUmmy mythsaje did not sell many books. The market for intergalactic vampire sex crime thrillers has been shrinking for years.

He could update to the more modern, lefty friendly approach - gay teen vampires.

A lukewarm public apology, and much to his discredit, the maudlin waif primitive accepted it.

Talk about brazen dishonesty. Not only did you steal someone else's work, you stole someone else's work from the SAME f'n site you and the other guy were on. How damn brick stupid must one be?
