There's a real SOB on "60 Minutes" tonight.
"Hard Measures - The former head of the CIA's Clandestine Service, Jose Rodriguez, talks to Lesley Stahl about the "enhanced interrogation techniques," including waterboarding, used on high-level al Qaeda detainees. The ex-spy was the man behind those techniques that some would consider torture and he defends their use for the first time. Richard Bonin is the producer."

IMO, this guy deserves to be in solitary for the rest of his miserable life.

The only bad thing about waterboarding these muzzie bastards is that they always survive it.

2. You're too kind

SOB is practically a term of endearment compared to the expletives I could summon when thinking about this criminal.

Look out, guys! Poor, addled grasswipe is researching the Pacific war, looking for any sign of franksolich being involved:

3. we executed war criminals after WW2.

Waterboarding was one of the crimes.

I am immersed in studying the war in the Pacific. Who would ever have thought Americans would use those techniques (and apparently approve them) in just a few decades.

Are they still crying themselves to sleep for the 3 whole times this was used?

Can I amend your claim to add "on know terrorist enemies of our country" ? I, and many other vets were "waterboarded" as part of our resistance training. Much worse than that occurred then. Of course what bothers one man has no effect on another, so it's quite subjective. I wanted the choke the life out of the guy pouring water in my face. If I ever see him again he'll rue the day.

edit, know to known
botheres to bothers

Of course you may, that was implied.  :-)

I'd much rather be waterboarded than to have my head sawed off.

You got to be kidding.

Sherlock Judy, the grasswire primitive, is "immersed" in studying the war in the Pacific?

Whatever prompted that?

It's almost as if franksolich were to announce he was immersed in studying the silkworm industry in France.

Surely Sherlock Judy yanked that out of her behind, out of thin air.

So far as anyone knows not one person died from waterboarding while being interrogated but, Ted Kennedy left one person behind in is car that did die from drowning. Amazing the kinds of people the DUmp cheers for and they have the gall to ask why we call them unamerican.

Awesome.

Well worth remembering.

But don't you remember? The Huffington Post said that Mary Jo should have been honored to have been murdered in cold blood by Kennedy. See for yourself. Any woman would have been glad to give her life for some Kennedy cock, after all. (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/melissa-lafsky/the-footnote-speaks-what_b_270298.html)

I vividly remember reading a description of the "waterboarding" used on our men in WW2.  They were tied to boards, placed head down, and water was poured on their faces...with NO RAG!!  The water ran up their noses, they swallowed all they could, and they breathed a lot into their lungs.  Some drowned from it.

This bears no resemblance to the procedure used by the United States.  None except the name.  Only complete fricking morons insist that they are the same thing.   :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It is torture.  There just isn't anyway around it.  The purpose of waterboarding is to give an individual the sensation that they are about to drown so that they will be in fear for their life and be willing to talk.  That is torture, it doesn't matter how it is gussied up.

On the other hand, it does not cause permanant injury.  When we find ourselves facing an implaccable enemy that does not recognize any nation and operates across international lines, and has proven itself to be resourceful and elusive, it may be the best option we can use to balance between the unacceptable extremes of becoming barbarians ourselves or missing necessary information because wew were too nice to use any method to get it.

I've always considered torture to be something that causes physical damage and intense pain.   From everything that I've read waterboarding doesn't cause physical pain.

No muzzie was killed by this interrogation, unfortunately.

The life of every savage in the entire muzzie universe is not worth even one innocent American.

So we torture our own service members ?

I'm with you on this, thundley.  No physical pain=no torture, IMHO.  Others here may disagree, and that's your right.  I've argued this with my moonbat SIL a few times. :banghead:

I'm  still anxious to see if poor, addled grasswipe has established a connection between waterboarding, the Pacific War, and franksolich.

She's still immersed, but soon she'll come up gasping and blubbering with new facts.

First I'm going to rip their left nut out by the roots with a pair of vice-grips. Then I'm going to put the right one in a vice and squeeze it until it pops like a water balloon. Then I'm going to get down to some serious torture.

I should have been a communist. :-)

Yes.   We use that particular method to prepare our service members for worse forms of torture, specifically because it does no permanent harm.

And, so far, 0bama has executed two American citizens without due process AND admits to cannibalism and the DUmp is silent.

Then, by definition, it's not torture.
