It seems in the wake of the murder of Trayvon Martin there have been a proliferation of threads alleging black on white crime motivated by race as if this that somehow exculpates George Zimmerman. What bovine excrement.


If a person commits a crime against another person and that crime is motivated by the person's race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, et cetera, that person has committed a hate crime. It's that simple.

Following that DU logic, when a black gang member kills a rival black gang member, wouldn't that still be a hate crime?

At DU, every post about people of faith is a hate crime.

@OP, DUers froth at the mouth on a daily basis with hate and rage for nearly everyone. Can you really expect such people to judge a hate crime?

DUers are atheists, and hate all men of faith.
DUers are overwhelmingly white, but blame all the world's ills on white people.
DUers hate America.
DUers hate Republicans.
DUers hate all who disagree with them.
DUers hate people of color who dare to step off the democratic plantation.
DUers hate everyone, even themselves.
