Corn is raised successfully far south of the "Corn Belt" now, I'll worry about this when it looks like it actually has some chance of happening beyond TEOTWAKI hysteria.

Sounds like they're talking about alfatoxin. It's been around for as long as I can remember.....even during the coming ice age of the 50's-60's when we were supposed to all freeze to death if we didn't do something soon yada-yada-yada.
