This actor won an award at the age of 6 and was nominated for an Oscar for the same role in a movie of the same name. He used only 2 of his 3 given names.
What in the world am I asking? :mental:
:-)
-
Can you tell us what the award was at age 6?
-
I think it's Jackie Cooper.
-
No, and no. Telling the award would be a dead giveaway, and Jackie Cooper is not the person.
I said that I needed to make these a little more difficult! :p
And I have a list of 5 other people, some more difficult than others. If this keeps going, I can easily add to the list. After all, it's coming up:

OK, I didn't google this time, Ron Howard?
ETA: Ron Howard didn't win his Oscar for a role he played.

Ohhhhhhhhhh, sorry. :panic:

Ernest Borgnine?
-
It would be something that went from stage to screen. "Actor" not necessarily all grown up. Hmmm
It's not Mickey Roony, is it?

Yeah, I'd say Mickey Rooney too, but he didn't have the three name thing going. He was born Joseph Yule, Jr.
-
The only other young person I can think of is Shirley Temple who then became known as Shirley Temple Black, but I don't think she was ever nominated for an Oscar as an adult.
-
Not yet, everyone. :bawl:
Lesseeeeeee...................he repeatedly yelled one word at the end of one of his movies.

That doesn't help at all LOL.
Sly Stallone yelled "Adrian" Marlon Brando yelled "Stella" not sure what part of the movie though, but the clues don't fit at all.

"Shane!" "Shane!" "Shane!" "Shane!"
Born into a theatrical family, he made a much-acclaimed Broadway debut at the age of nine in "The Member of the Wedding." He was the first child actor to win the Donaldson Award and went on to repeat his role in the film version directed by Fred Zinnemann in 1952. As the blonde, blue-eyed Joey who idolizes the strange gunman (Alan Ladd) in Shane (1953), he stole the picture and was rewarded with an Oscar nomination the following year.
Born on April 9, 1942, He was killed as the result of a traffic accident that occurred in the Denver suburb of Lakewood on the evening of July 6, 1972 at about 3:25 PM. He had been en route to visit his wife at a Denver hospital. He was driving a camper van, lost control and crashed into a parked construction truck on the side of the road, causing his camper to roll onto its side, pinning him in the wreckage of his vehicle for a while before being taken to St. Anthony Hospital where he died at 7:20 PM of multiple injuries including a broken back, neck, and leg.

Maybe it's age-related. He was good while he lasted. Check his bio at the link.

I never even heard of that person.
I've heard the name, but I damn sure don't know anything about him.
Meh - I'm not one to worship at the altar of the entertainment industry anyway. :whatever:
Suggestion, CG -- let's stay the hell away from the Hollyweird types, mmmkay?

Shane was a great movie. I used to watch it all the time when I was a kid.

I'm a Shaneaholic!
All those like that I like: Shane, Old Yeller, and Swiss Family Robinson were three of my favorites growing up.

Really? Should I keep this going?
Is that a rhetorical question ?
OF COURSE you should keep this going. It has the potential to be the forum's number 1 surprise breakout hit thread !
