This is the day the republicans hate. They mock Earth Day just as they mock women, the poor, the elderly, the sick, blacks, hispanics, teachers, veterans and Mother Earth. Republicans hate trees almost as much as they hate tax day.

We mock you loons who buy into the whole global climate change bullshit. If you really believed what you spewed you wouldn't use oil, you wouldn't use electricity, you wouldn't use anything that you say you despise so much. You sit there in your comforts demanding that the rest of us ride bikes and turn off all the lights in the house.

Where's the fight to put a price on carbon? Where's the protection for the Gulf after the worst environmental disaster in our history? Where's the clear bold Dem message that would combat the anti-science, corporate-whoring message of the right??
I could go on and on but the answer is simple: Dem "leaders" have adopted a kindler, gentler version of Republican corporate-whoring rather than standing up for the earth and the children who will inherit this mess.
If we put a price on carbon, do we get charged every time we breathe out?
The Gulf is pretty clean, I have been there several times since the oil spill and the water was clear, the sea life was flourishing. In between man cleaning it up and nature filtering out the rest the gulf has survived nicely.

Earth Day and May Day. The only two holidays the DUmmies do not despise.
The first is a fantasy, and the second a communist nightmare. Neither are reasons for family gatherings. Both serve as an excuse to protest and hate on other men. Of course DU will celebrate these days.

WARNING! LONG RANT AHEAD!
The DUmmy is right that we do mock Earth Day, because frankly it has become a day worth mocking, and the sorts of ways that liberals "Celebrate" it make it even more so. Earth Day was first created by a psychotic hippy who brutally murdered his girlfriend and then fled to Europe when he realized the cops were on to him. Earth Day has since gone from a day in which citizens are encouraged to engage in reasonable ways of helping the environment (i.e. picking up litter in a park or something), into an excuse for climate hoaxers like Al Gore to make a buttload of money giving pompous, bloviating speeches about how global warming will kill us all unless everyone (Except the liberal elite, of course) buries their cars, becomes vegan, and goes back to living like the Flintstones, and for dope- addled hippies to spew revolting, incoherent poetry about the evils of humanity and capitalism.
I've got a little story about Earth Day from when I was a senior in college that kind of sums it up: Most of the people in my college were familiar with a student named "Sean." He was the ultimate epitome of a hippy: Wore cruddy clothes, clearly hadn't had a haircut or shave for months, had the uniquely horrible stench of a hippy (A mixture of patchouli, stale marijuana smoke, and good old- fashioned B.O., with probably a couple other unidentified smells mixed in, too) and the manners of a barnyard goat, wrote a lot of poetry that was amateurish at best, massively self- righteous, and possessing a fierce hatred of the Christian faith even while claiming to be all about "Peace and love." That Earth Day, when I learned that a stage had been erected on the campus green with a microphone so students could have a chance to recite some of their Earth Day- related poetry, I figured "Sean" would try to use it to spew his own stuff. Sure enough, when I rode my bike past that area on my way to class, Sean was up there on the stage, loudly screaming/ ranting his poetry. As I rode by, he loudly howled out, "AMERICA, EXILE ME!" As I heard it, I thought, 'Oh, if only we could!' I didn't hear much more of it because I had a class to get to, but a friend of mine who was also there told me how things went from there: Sean continued his ranting poetry for a long period, which included anti- Christian ravings, talk of doing drugs, and talk of various sexual practices (And keep in mind there were children present at this Earth Day poetry event). The faculty sponsors there let him continue spewing his garbage in such a way for a while, but finally he crossed the line by dropping the "F" bomb. A female faculty member calmly walked up on stage, took the microphone from him, and said, "Well, thank you, Sean. Now, who's next?" Sean reacted to this by going completely off the deep end. He ran off, screaming and cursing at the top of his lungs and flapping his arms like a bird (I am dead serious).
You see, DUmmies, we mock Earth Day because most of the people who really celebrate it nowadays are people like Sean: Demented, self- righteous, obscene, filled with hate even while claiming to be open- minded and tolerant, and more motivated by a desire for self- promotion through cheap and crude shock tactics than by an actual desire to help the environment.
As for a couple other parts of the DUmmy's asinine post,
We mock the elderly? Pot, meet kettle. Liberals despise the elderly. They view the elderly as a bunch of evil, ignorant, out- of- touch racists who represent the Dark Ages when everything was bad and who need to die off quickly so that the left can create their "Brave new world." For just one example, good old DUmmy Omaha Steve has been trying to get himself elected to his city council, but deliberately skipped an event designed around gaining the support of senior citizens.
We mock veterans? Again, pot, meet kettle. Dems and other liberals devote their lives to insulting and demonizing the US military, be they currently- serving troops or veterans. They shower veterans with such terms of endearment as "Baby killers," "Fascists," "Nazis," and "Mercenaries," except when the elections are coming up, in which case the libs conveniently forget about saying those things in an attempt to try and secure the veteran vote.
The only blacks and Hispanics we mock (Other than Obama, whose idiocy, incompetence, and hypocrisy make him a prime candidate for mockery) are the fanatical, race- baiting supremacists among them (i.e. Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam/ New Black Panther types, La Raza), and frankly, those sorts of people are difficult NOT to mock.
btw, we may not mock "Mother Earth," but we unashamedly do mock the brain- damaged hippies who refer to the planet as "Mother Earth." They are idiots who pray to and weep over trees, rocks, and dung beetles, yet believe that Christians are the ones who are stupid and out of touch with reality.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Liberals have long since perverted that day from a celebration of all the good that Dr. King did in his life to promote racial harmony, into an excuse for rabid black nationalists (Ironically, the very sorts of people that during the Civil Rights Era referred to Dr. King as a "Chump" and referred to King's followers as "Uncle Toms" for seeking racial unity rather than black supremacy, and using peaceful resistance tactics rather than active violence against cops and whites) to spew racial hatred and for white liberals to wallow in self- imposed guilt over the color of their own skin.
