Mom rents billboard to get daughter elected prom queen

Some parents will do anything to make sure their child gets ahead -- even if it's in the quest for something as ultimately pointless as being crowned prom queen. A mother in Killeen, Texas, has gone on a full media blitz to promote her daughter's dreams of being crowned the fairest of the spring ball, with not only fliers and print ads in local papers, but also with a billboard. High school senior Brandy Day says she joked with her mom, Tammy, about getting a billboard to advertise her run for prom queen but was genuinely shocked when her mom texted her a picture of a rotating billboard that read "Vote Brandy Day for Prom Queen!" Good luck, Brandy! With a mom like that, you might need it.
Much DUmmy condemnation ensues, but wait....

Despite the public backlash , Tammy Day said she doesn’t regret having gone all out for her daughter. She said she wanted to give her daughter, who was diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy from the waist down at age 3, a bright, shining moment after a life of pain.
“They may consider it overboard, but I don’t look at it like that,†she said. “I look at it like it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make memories …This is her last prom. She’s never going to be in high school again and I wanted her to have the best moment possible during her last school year.â€
Why do progressive hate disabled folk? Just not perfect enough for their little world I guess.

I'd say the NYC PM primitive probably never went to a prom. I never did, either--but I don't hold any grudges against anyone.

Such a sweet mother. I'd do the same thing for my daughter too. Every girl wants a "princess/queen" moment at least once in their lifetime. Don't take that joy away from some little girl, DUmmies.
I really hope most of those DUmmies have NO children. How awful for them.

Very few ever attended a prom, let alone had the popularity to be nominated as a prom queen.
DUmbasses love those tales that come up every year about bulldaggers or swishy homos suing their schools over perceived slights at proms or commencements.

For all ultra- liberals' pretentious prattling of sticking up for/ looking out for the downtrodden, they have always demonstrated an immense lack of compassion for the disabled (Physically and especially mentally).
They regularly use "Retard"/ "Retarded" as a pejorative, especially towards conservatives.
Hollywood liberals make comedy TV shows and movies filled with "Laugh at the retard" jokes.
President Obama made his infamous "Special Olympics" joke on national television.
Then there's all the flat- out heartless comments that libs have made about Trig Palin.
This is just more of the usual for them.

The DUmmies think it's a bad thing for a Mom to 'politic' for her daughter, but it is acceptable for an unqualified community organizer to spend millions of dollars (and not his own) to keep a his job, despite an unfavorable approval rating.
Not to mention $40,000/plate dinners that only the 1%ers can attend, the very same 1%ers that the DUmmies DUmp on every day.
The only thing they are consistent with is their inconsistency.

I wasn't going to go to mine, then a friend mentioned that her boyfriend wasn't going to take her and we decided to go as friends, then another one of our friends mentioned that she didn't have a boyfriend so we invited her to go with us, then another broke up with her boyfriend.......well I rolled up to the prom with six dates in a limo. Nobody knew I was that popular, including me. Good times...
I was working off that debt for a month and a half.
