Last year, before all my drama began, I was up to 250lbs.
In August, I got down to 175
Today I am back to 190, despite the fact I am mostly keeping to the new diet. Well, mostly.

That's great that you lost all that weight! Tell us how you did it.
10 years ago when I ran a lot, I was in the 185 lb range. Now that I primarily lift weights, I'm usually about 225-230 lb. I bench close to 300 lbs.
Of course when I was in my twenties and thirties it was pretty easy to keep my weight in check but now it's a lot tougher. I had to completely change my diet due to high cholesterol too. I refuse to take any medication though, the diet change is reversing it.
I've tried every diet out there but only thing that works for me is the old saying:
"Exercise your body more, exercise your mouth less".

That is still good.

I wish I could get back to 190. Congrats on getting there (at least temporarily).
I have a horrible diet and never exercise, but I've managed to stay at 225 for the last four years. :(

Some people have washboard abs.
I have washing machine abs.
I feel your pain. When I ran my first LA marathon, I was at 180 (down from 245 and being diagnosed with Type II). I'm back up to 215, but working on it.
