Oh my.
Steve Dawes Bellevue NEBRASKA City Council candidate
* Posted by Steven L Dawes on April 18, 2012 at 9:53pm in Position Papers
The Drudge Report covered me a couple weeks ago. So I have lots of attention from the other side of the isle.
I'm a D: http://stevedawes2012.com/index.htm
And from tonight's local news: http://www.ketv.com/politics/30915991/detail.html

Hey Steve:
Welcome! Why not post that video to our Video bucket. Select it from the main navigation bar.
Best,
Peggy Randall
The above's the whole deal.
When was the big guy featured on the Drudge Report?
How'd we here, and the friends of the big guy, miss that?

I thought Drudge was evil and forbidden for moonbats to click upon. Now they're bragging about it?
Oh wait - they did have that story about the 600lb man getting cut out of his own house. Was that OS?
-
I found this Nation link by going to "steve dawes bellevue".
The big guy's DU journal is still alas on the first page of results, which forebodes no good for the big guy; he has to ask Skins to delete that, as it makes him look bad.
And.....by the way.....
This is the number one "result", way above all other results:

Like Steve Dawes. Or Steve Dawes Bellevue Omaha Steve consider setting up a bunch of websites if you haven't yet. Make sure your campaign has a twitter ...
I've never seen that before.

I'm afraid that Peggy at The Nation is no more savvy than Peggy at King of the Hill.
She doesn't know that Socialist Steve is a DUmmy, nor does she know that DUmmies lie, all the time.
In the neckbearded moaner's mind, there's no difference between Drudge and the smurky little smart asses here.
We have featured him prominently, so as the crazy bald dwarf would say, "wallah" he's a Drudge star.
Incidentally, if it's that easy to get into Peggy's video bucket, maybe it needs help from a friend.....

I have decided to join the Nation, using my own credentials as a conservative Tea Party activist. I would like nothing more to do than to engage in spirited, rational debate about today's political and cultural issues.
It would be interesting if Peggy approved my membership. I won't hold my breath. I'll post the acceptance/rejection letter upon receipt. If accepted, I will interject into the conversation about Steve Dawes, and introduce the members of the Nation to Dawes' descriptive site, the iconic www.electstevedawes.com.
I will also track down the Drudge Report inclusion. Inquiring socialists may be interested in such information.
EDIT: That was fast, I was approved within 2 minutes. Apparently Peggy is either a speedreader or the Nation has higher standards for membership than Democratic Underground. Anyway... here we go...

The big guy was stretching something, and it wasn't himself.
And naturally he's hoping the affluent readers of the Nation hit his "donate" page.

Yeah, I couldn't find it either.
I have a hard time believing that Drudge would have any interest in self avowed socialist steve dawes story, unless of course, he lives in Ward 1.

All drudge does is link articles, so it would be difficult to locate I imagine.
That said, if Drudge had something about Bellevue up the socialist Steve Dawes would have had put up the (http://img.wonkette.com/assets/resources/2007/01/siren.gif) in a second.
-
OK, I jumped into the conversation. I asked to hear more from Steve, where I can locate his Drudge Report link, and finally added to his cred with the Nation by posting the iconic site, www.electstevedawes.com .
NOTE: Although the Nation shows a "pending approval" warning when trying to register, I got my approval within a minute, which leads me to believe that more friends of Steve Dawes, the ones who support him through www.electstevedawes.com, can also be similarly approved as myself. How about some more support for the big guy there?
-
"That said, if Drudge had something about Bellevue up the socialist Steve Dawes would have had put up the in a second."
Heh, yeah that is absolutly true.
He would have done that on the DUmp and he would have done that on the Nations website.
And probably on his own.
Kinda makes me think that he wanted to drop the name, but maybe just maybe, assuming it exists it wasn't good.
But I still seriously doubt it exists.

I truly would love to hear more from Steve Dawes myself. In addition, that Drudge Report item would also be interesting to read. In the meantime, there is a multitude of supportive information at www.electstevedawes.com.

I suspect the big guy's reading this at work while he tends to the water- and pressure-gauges on a wall somewhere, and he's right now itching to do something, but he's stuck at work.
If he takes his eyes off those gauges.....

Considering the big guy's work ethic, his level of reponsibility would never include anything of importance, even in a shop full of union deadbeats.
His worth at the sewer plant is equivalent to that of Pedro Picasso at the junk mail factory, at least until Pedro was shitcanned.
Socialist Steve is the sewer plant's Homer Simpson.

Come on, the Nation is required reading in Bellevue isnt't it?

The "picture" that came to mind when I was originally posting this was of the big guy sitting in front of a computer reading about himself, and behind that, on the wall, a whole lot of gauges and levers and buttons, which is his job to monitor.
I've never been inside a sewer plant--or even a clean-water plant, for that matter--but I'm sort of assuming they boil the sewage in huge cauldrons to remove contaminants before they release the sewage to wherever it's being sent. And hence all the temperature- and pressure-gauges.
Which the big guy's paid to be watching, but he surfs the internet instead.
At the end of the "picture" is that of the big guy's eyes growing as big as saucers as he sits there and reads, while the temperature- and pressure-gauges spin their needles into the red zone, about to blow.
I dunno if that's a realistic "picture" or not, but that's what I was seeing.

That's exactly the picture I have in my mind of the DUmp's master control suite.
A huge wall of dials and gauges and buttons and levers.
DUmmies Lord Marblehead and the enigmatic Elad sitting before it in high-back swivel chairs, carefully monitoring the pressures and temperatures and levels of the sewage boiling in giant cauldrons in the next room.
As each huge batch of bubbling, boiling sewage reaches a critical point, a lever is pulled to release it onto the innertubes, and a new DUmp thread is born.
Once in a while, the dimwitted Marblehead, who has never really caught on to the job, will pull a lever the wrong direction, and great steaming gobs of hot sewage splash all over the floor at DUmp central control.
That's how we got the Andyscam.
Skimmer sits in a small lighted room high above the control room, keeping an eye on his two flunkies and counting huge piles of government DUmmybucks.

Here is my site: http:/ /stevedawes2012. com/ http://www.electstevedawes.com -(corrected)
It shows how I figured out a way to save almost everybody in my ward over 20% on their natural gas bill. I don't know why anybody from outside my ward would say that is a bad thing?
Note to Steve: Saving 20% is not gonna happen. Once the government of any level gets its pincers on the money transfer process, that 20% savings becomes 30% "unexpected price costs" due to trips to the Omaha VIP rooms for girl high school basketball players. In addition, what happens when the invariable strikes and shortages occur. Oh, that's right: YOU will be the one to benefit, while your constituents have to burn their treasured copies of College World Series programs. Not bueno.

Well now, one has to give Marta credit; she's standing by her man, even if he looks like an ass.
You know, that's one thing that perplexed me about the big guy's "family values" non-answers in that one questionnaire.
In Bellevue, family values are a big deal.
But the big guy said it wasn't important, thus throwing away one of his strongest points.
I mean, think about it. Married to one, and only one, woman for 34 years. Father of children.
I dunno the shape of the marriage or the fates of the kids, but that alone speaks volumes.
The big guy should've answered that family values question, but the big guy doesn't pay attention to franksolich's advice and counsel.

People here may misunderestimate the readership of The Nation.
The facts and quotes laid out in www.electstevedawes.com are repulsive to decent and civilized people, and doom his candidacy if enough Ward 1 voters become aware of them.
But to readers of The Nation, who are almost without exception communist, fifth columnist, America-hating traitors, the true Steve Dawes is an admirable candidate.
The Nation is just a slick version of The Daily Worker.
Pointing out Steve Dawes's lifelong socialism helps him greatly among that readership.

^^right, that.

I checked the Peoples World to see if the big guy's shown up there yet.
Nope, and probably the friends of the big guy can't publicize him there.
The Peoples World is the successor the Daily Worker, which was one time a daily publication, and then a weekly publication, and then it merged with other Communist newspapers, becoming the weekly Peoples World; it most recently became an on-line only publication.
Perhaps nadin should apply for a job there? They might pay.

Steve shot himself in the other foot. How many feet does that make?

Well, he is about six feet tall, and about as wide.

Why doesn't OS shoot for something more up his alley, like The Daily Worker? I know that's more of the communist variety, but awfully close to his ideology.

You know, this is beyond ridiculous.
Why is the big guy responding to us on the Nation?
And he's coming across as being very defensive, very defensive.
Now, if franksolich were running for an office, franksolich would quite reasonably expect the primitives to try and derail his own campaign, although to be honest, I don't recall that franksolich ever said as many stupid things as the big guy did, on the internet.
franksolich is, if nothing else, the epitome of "discreet."
Anyway, if the primitives were to try what's going on here, rather than myself responding to primitive allegations, I'd ignore the primitives and let my friends answer for me. That way, I wouldn't look defensive, and as a bonus, I'd look above the fray.
The big guy should have Marta, his kids, his kids-in-law, and other primitives respond on his behalf, for him.
But does the big guy pay attention to the advice and counsel of franksolich?

-
Tsk tsk tsk.
Steve is doing the ONE thing a candidate of his stature should not have to do, and that is to conduct an argument with someone in a forum that ostensibly supports his very candidacy based upon the socialist/Marxist goals of the site. He should not have to "defend" any of his positions, because the positions he holds are true to his core, and should be front and center!
Other Nation readers may be flummoxed at the exchanges in this thread. They would be wondering why Steve is justifying his existence, when he doesn't have to justify it. It is a cardinal rule NOT to inflame the masses, and Steve's campaign manager should do so post haste. Perhaps his brilliant staff at www.electstevedawes.com can provide the guidance he so severely lacks in these social networking times.

Denying his socialism on a socialist website is rather the turd in the punch bowl approach now isn't it Stevie? The primitive with the Ralph Cramdon profile and the Ed Norton occupation has definitely put his future success in the crapper. Embrace you inner socialist Stevie, embrace it. I'm told I need a more neutral car to win the election to city council next year. Last look.

1. You should always be yourself, including your image.
If you attempt to win election by creating a false image, if you win the election, your voters will be disappointed with the false image you created for them when they look at your record and note that the false image didn't equal your actions.

22. Yes - they need to go.
There is indeed a game that if you don't play it, will keep you from getting into the race.
We had a Democratic candidate once who insisted she do things strictly "her way" and he campaign manager thought that was just great. I attended one of her campaign stops where she addressed an older conservative crowd. She was wearing thick wool socks with sandals, a long peasant skirt and a thick wool sweater. I don't think anyone heard much of what she had said because her appearance stopped everyone at hello.
She didn't get very many votes because no one took her seriously.
That's just the way it is.

Self avowed socialist, Steve Dawes of Bellevue, has been pretty quiet lately.
Wasn't there suposed to be some big announcement this weekend?
Will it be published at... www.electstevedawes.com
Why didn't the weeper answer any questions about his campaign and political thoughts?
Why would any serious candidate for any position, demand answers from potential voters.
What is Omaha Steve trying to hide?
Could it be his rabid support of socialism?
-

I could be wrong, but I believe the big guy promised us a big announcement on this coming Wednesday, April 25.
It's kind of hard keeping track.
Anybody seen any yard-signs yet?
Rumor is the big guy took some cash-advances on his credit cards to pay the bill at the printer, so they'd be released.

I doubt the big guy has a pocket full of credit cards, given his history as told in his own words at www.electstevedawes.com :
I know what it means to be the head of a family without a job during bad times. I know bankruptcy as a result of these actions too.
In Socialist Steve's lifetime, there have never been times as bad as those ushered in by the jug-eared muslim. If the printer had read www.electstevedawes.com , he would have inisisted on payment up front.
