Tonight, I really dislike the 1%
I have been working at my job for five months and found out my boss has expenensed:
His condo
$30,000 parking spaces for said condo
His two acuras
plus other expenses including a steamer.
On top of his ridiculous salary.
And i was told today that I could not attend a necessary conference because of budgetary constraints - even though they paid $600 for it already. Just because of mileage and hotel. I am sick to my stomach right now. And I can't even pay my water bill right now as a campus dirctor of a college.

You have been there for 5 whole months and they haven't promoted you to CEO yet? Them bastards.

4. Oh and sorry about the shoddy spelling,
And grammar. My internet is shut off until I get paid on Friday. That is how hard up me and my partner are right now. All we have is cell phones which just got turned on again last week
Maybe it's just me, but I would pay the water bill before I worried about the internet bill.
Do any of these sooper geniuses not have major money problems?
I'm not exactly rich, but we do the crazy thing of paying our bills before we do anything else.
-
"partner"
:whatever:
-
BlurryNumbers, instead of envying your boss, why not start your own company, become your own boss, and expense everything? Then you could be the 1% and really dislike yourself!
-
I saw the "Partner" also. I think they are just trying to find something to bitch and moan about, while in the process of blaming the 1%. I feel so bad for them, Not!
-

Oh No! That would involve work. Right now its easier to look for pity.
-
I would think a "campus dirctor of a college" would make enough money to pay the water bill. I bet he makes more than I do, yet I seem to survive.
Anyone know how much a "campus dirctor of a college" makes?

That was my though. They must be living well over their means.

It all depends on what they are a director of. I don't think they make anymore than a professor?

I would think it would pay more than min wage.

I am sure it does. A director is like a head of a department. So I am going to go out on a limb here and say maybe 40,000 to 50,000?

America is such a cruel country! Even the "poor" can afford their cell phone bill to get on the internet. How do you not have enough money for a water bill? How much water do you consume to get to the point you can't afford it? The highest water bill we have ever had in Las Vegas (a desert) was $35.
-

That is something that burns me. People can't afford heat or food, but yet they can afford a cell phone. I don't understand that.
-

Not great money but more than I make.

If it came down to food or a cellphone I would choose food.
-

Where I live, $50,000.00 a year is great money.
-
If it came down to food or a cellphone I would choose food.
I agree.
-

It's enough money to pay a water bill. But then again, maybe the DUmmy is paying too much money in gas in this 0bamaconomy and can't afford the water bill.
How do you shower? I mean, I guess I shouldn't even ask that because I've seen some of those DUmmies and they definitely do not shower daily.
-
I think the moles are out in force there at DU. I can't believe it's possible that people can be this miserable, it has to be the moles.

Can someone tell me why I pay for my Moms cellphone instead of pawning her off on the State/Government?

Because broadband internet hasn't been added to the Bill of Rights yet. :whatever:

The people I see with phones like the iphone and droid phones. I'm not sure if the free service offers those.
-

I don't think so. That free gubmint phone only gets you a pushbutton cell phone (no touch screen) with a fixed number of minutes.
It's kind of like gubmint housing, but that doesn't seem to stop people from filling them up. I noticed they dressed up the projects since I drove through there in 2000. Now they have little townhouse-style awnings over each entrance. So kind of the city to allow the taxpayers to put them there.
-
I have no idea what a "campus dirctor of a college" might be.
It's apparently a job an illiterate DUmpmonkey can get, so it must not be much.
And when they mention a "partner" they should specify if it's a queer or a shackup.
It is the DUmp, so it's most likely a pair of queers.
-

yeah, I'm not to sure. I just don't like seeing someone who can't afford heat or food texting on their iPhone or droid phone. They can pay 100.00 for the phone bill, but can't pay .99 cents for a loaf of bread.
-

Another perfectly good word ruined by liberals. You used to be able to say 'partner' and everyone knew what you were talking about. Now you have to classify what kind or people look at you sideways.

You can't really take their job claims at face value, they are world-class liars. And not just ordinary whoppers that are direct untruths, they are very adroit at lying by omission and skirting the truth to permit the reader to draw a false inference. In this particular flouncer's case, that job title could mean he works at the information desk at a college, giving directions.

Right.

The problem they have is they spend most of their income on drugs and birth control.

That's what Sandra Fluck says.
So, I am to take it that this DUmmie works at a college, and HIS boss, who is probably the dean of said college, is one of the 1%, because he uses legal tax right offs and makes more money than the DUmmie.
Sounds like either the DUmmie is jealous, or we are paying college deans too f'n much.
Or both.

And I can't even pay my water bill right now as a campus dirctor of a college
Really? water bills are the least expensive of utility bills :???:
-
I wonder how this campus dirctor is privy to his boss's personal income tax return. Snooping in his private papers left in the office? Attempted identity theft? I doubt he's "expensensing his condo" though. Might be a $50 deduction for a home office setup, but how would the dirctor know this?
Anyway, my water bill is about $120 per month, but that's for 3 units. So for one family, $40. He can't swing this? Who is this DUmmie, anyway?
-
So I nadined 'campus director' and came up with many hits, one of which listed jobs in this field. Most were from places like Strayer, but some were actual brick and mortar campuses. Pay? I saw one job was offering 100K.
At my alma mater, the campus director lived on campus, in a special apartment in one of the residential halls. No utility bills, nothing to worry about except drunken undergrads.
Something here smells fishy...and I don't mean the OP's vajayjay.

http://www.simplyhired.com/a/salary/search/q-campus+director
~$46,000
It's such a broad job title though, so who knows.
But does his "partner" work?
I mean unless they are living in some liberal bastien like LA, SF, or NY then that is a good amount of money plus said "partners" income.
-
yeh, just checked mine and it was 42 bucks. My mom's is 21.
Forty-two bucks is the magic number! You could shut off your water, use your mom's bathroom and laundry, and buy a star with that money.

That's less than the avg school Teacher makes. As a Campus Director I'm guessing somewhere in the neighborhood of $80 - $100 Thousand plus perks.
-

But see he's a drctor, so that's less expensensive to hire. Besides he's lying.

Where I live, school teachers make between 30,000 and 35,000 a year. A college professor here makes 80,000. So between 40,000 and 50,000 a year for college director, in my area, sounds about right.

Sorry, late to the thread. I give it 2.5 bongs. Got almost all of the NSDP talking points in.
If this were true, I would love to send the screed to the DUche's employer. Then it could see how it likes UE payments.

It probably would, for 99 weeks, anyway.

It really doesn't matter. This semi-literate DUmpmonkey may work for a college, but certainly not in a job above the lowest rung of maintenance.
DUmmies lie, all the time and every time.

In Texas teacher salary starting point set by the state starts at about 35K/yr. With competition between districts to attract teachers they usually pay well above the state min.
My ex is pulling down around 60K/yr.She works in the Sp.Ed dept ,Masters degree/ 18 yrs experience.
