Matthews:

How do you respond to Brazil's demand to be both partners and rivals? . . . they want to come North -- use our educational resources to learn how to compete with us . . . Right Mr. President? Right Mrs. President? . . . You want to learn everything we know and take it back and shove it at us . . . .

President Obama:

"Chris, I'm not sure you're characterizing what Ms. Rousseff said, but . . . this is what happens when you get some of our U.S. political commentators moderating a panel . . . they try to get -- they try to stir up things that may not always be there . . . and Chris is one of the best!""

Well, that's a disappointment...I thought it was going to be a story about Obama blowing Matthews to thank him for all the attention since 2007. (http://www.democraticunderground.com/1002563293)

As Obama has even said, he doesn't watch MSNBC, or FOX News. When he watches news, which is rare, he watches CNN. And most of the time he watches Sports Center.
