Title: How long till the overplay of the Trayvon case means no one cares about it any m
Post by: Mr Mannn on April 12, 2012, 06:36:33 AM
Its overkill. I can gauge general reaction with my lib coworkers...and they stopped talking about this a while ago.

I think the media is turning this into OJ all over again. especially with the trial coming up.
When the public gets annoyed with news shoved in their face 24/7, they start making jokes about it. I haven't heard the jokes yet, but they are coming.

The shark. It has been jumped.

How long till the overplay of the Trayvon case means no one cares about it any more?
Already there.

Already there.

Yeah, but let race riots start, such as if Zimmerman is acquitted, and it'll be right back there.

The race riots will occur, Zimmerman verdict or not. Load up and get ready.

I'm so far from LA or DC that I just don't give a shit.

Philly, Chicago, Omaha, Kansas City, Phoenix, Denver, you name the city, and it could happen there.

Again, far enough away from all of the above and any others that matter I'll have no problem seeing the "yutes" coming, and I live one of the four open carry/shall-issue CCW states in the Northeast.

Yeah, come up to NH and stir up some shit.  I dare ya.

Once Jackson and Sharpton got involved I was over it.

Might sound callous, but I've never given a damn. Someone died. Someone is going to trial. I don't care that one was a kid and the other a "white" Hispanic.

It's no different than what happens in every city every day of the year.

How many people died in Chicago, NYC or LA yesterday?

I'm not close enough to ANY big city to care.     :-)

You're not alone.  And seriously, gunshots ring out every day in every city.  The only reason I'm paying any attention is this bloodthirsty-mob mentality, the clambering for the sacrificial lamb, and the collapse of the Rule of Law.

I wouldn't characterize it so much as a collapse as an undermining by Holder, and the owebuma justice department.
