What do you believe is the end goal in the war against women?
I am mystified as to why the republicans have waged this war against us and what their ultimate goal is.
Are we a threat? Why? Do they wish to relegate us to property status? Again, why?
All I read involves the insane things they are trying to do but I never hear the reasons behind it. I realize there
can't be a rational explanation...
Can anyone enlighten me please?

Looks like the dem talking points aren't making sense to her about this made up war on women, so she needs reassurance.

12. Women out of the labor force and stripped of all rights
including their vote with marriage the only route to survival, cranking out a (male) baby every year until the husband finds a mistress and gives her a break.
This is their idea of heaven on earth.
:whatever:

23. Death
I truly believe that our deaths is what they want. The more of us whom die, the better for them. They want to cull us.
Yeah because we all know having to pay for your own birth control is fatal. :whatever:

33. Cancel the 19th Ammendment
With the rest of the 20th century. Many conservatives blame our "moral drift" on women voting and being able to go to school. Work and yes vote.
Ok show of hands how many cavers blame our moral drift is because of women not being stuck in the kitchen barefoot and pregnant.
The moral drift is because of liberalism, plain and simple.
-
You people are such sheeple. :rotf:
-
My mother and sister both said that liberalism came in because of emotion-based female voing.
I was stuck being the neanderthal male scratching his crack and arguing for women's suffrage and great women leaders (Elizabeth I, Golda Meir, Margaret Thatcher, usw.)
Very bizarre set of conversations.
Neither of them voted because they didn't think they should (Mom passed last September, and AFAIK Sis is not registered to vote anywheres). I don't know where they got these ideas but I can assure you it wasn't their fathers (Grampa and Dad) or brothers (Uncle and me) brainwashing them. During his last election, before he passed, Dad was begging them to join him in trying to prevent Clinton II.
-
The only conservatives I've heard that said allowing women to vote was wrong are other women.
-
Every time they start talking about what "conservatives believe" and what "conservatives want" they show their absolute ignorance.
-
War against women? Our women are hot as shit. They run the damn place. Stop projecting, DUmbasses. It's not us that's killing millions of would be women.

Let's look at the republican war against women...
On November 18, 1872, Anthony was arrested by a U.S. Deputy Marshal for voting in the 1872 Presidential Election two weeks earlier. She had written to Stanton on the night of the election that she had "positively voted the Republican ticket—straight...".
In 1958, President Dwight Eisenhower (a republican) asked a joint session of Congress to pass the Equal Rights Amendment, the first President to show such a level of support for the amendment.
The amendment (Equal Rights Amendment) was opposed by most northern Democrats, who aligned themselves with the anti-ERA labor unions but the ERA was supported by southern Democrats and almost all Republicans.
The proposed amendment (the 19th Amendment) was first introduced in the U.S. Senate colloquially as the "Anthony Amendment", by Senator Aaron A. Sargent of California (a republican).
The key vote came on June 4, 1919, when the Senate approved the amendment by 56 to 25 after four hours of debate, during which Democratic Senators opposed to the amendment filibustered to prevent a roll call until their absent Senators could be protected by pairs. The Ayes included 36 (82%) Republicans and 20 (54%) Democrats. The Nays comprised 8 (18%) Republicans and 17 (46%) Democrats. It was ratified by sufficient states in 1920, the Nineteenth Amendment, which prohibited state or federal sex-based restrictions on voting.
All of the above is from the DUmmie source wikipedia.
So tell me again, which party is against women?

DUmmie wymins should boycott the manufacture of AA & AAA batteries.

The only conservatives I've heard that said allowing women to vote was wrong are other women.
And all the primitives want to repeal the right of a conservative woman to vote.

George Stefanopoulos got a talking point from the White House to ask Mitt Romney about banning birth control, an outrageous assertion since the point is moot, that turns into demanding the Catholic Church via insurance coverage, to cover things the Church is morally against, and they're protected under Religious Freedom in this Country, then that turns into Fluke wanting birth control to be totally paid for by insurance ie the costs being paid by those of us who pay for insurance, then this turns into Augusta not allowing women to join, and somehow Republicans are at war with women?
So while this distraction is going on we still have unemployment that's high, officially it's a little over 8% but real numbers are over 19%, gas prices are high, food prices are high, the misery index is high, home foreclosures are high.
Now what's a greater threat to women and their families?
-

Liars knw that they're lying even when they want it to be the truth.
They don't say this tripe to each other because they believe it but because they want the undecided middle who might be listening-in to believe it.
They want the undecideds to hate you and fear you so the middles will become liberal and they can use weight of numbers to silence the opposition.

Division and distraction of the stupid so that 0bama gets reelected.

Let's see...I have control of the family finances, budgeting, what we buy (depending on cost...some decisions we make together), our weekly allowances, taxes...I believe that pretty much gives me a great deal of power. You people are so delusional and gullible it's disgusting.
0bama needs to fire up his base...first the women. Makes up a fake birth control controversy. Democratic machine starts meme about a war on women (as if they can no longer buy birth control or suck a baby out of their womb and stab it in the head with a fork). Media, like dutiful little propaganda ministers, picks up on it. The little sheep, unable to think logically for themselves repeat and believe until it becomes ingrained.
Round two (where we are now)...gin up a race war. Media finds a month old story (the kind of thing that happens in towns & cities everywhere and involves people of all races) and deliberately distort the facts by referring to the shooter as a "white" Hispanic, creatively editing the 9-1-1 tape being selective about what gets released to the public (the real story which is almost the exact opposite of what was reported trickles out slowly but the media generated story has already set the tone for the left). The race pimps get involved. Hollywood too. The president injects himself into a LOCAL crime that he has NO business commenting on until the investigation is complete. Rather than calling for calm, he stirs the pot and tacitly agrees with the bounty on Zimmerman's head because he doesn't direct his justice department to look into a crime that's actually been made in public. Nor does he even hint to the Black Panthers that such actions are illegal and do little to help the black community. Meanwhile, there have been two mass shootings (black on black) within the same time frame...one while the Trayvon-Zimmerman was in full swing...and nothing is said. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Because in reality the left doesn't care. Just so long as their slaves on their inner city plantations keep breeding to make more it doesn't matter who shoots who.
Next up: Gays! Can't wait to see what they do with this one. If they were smart they would just find some gay transgendered black lesbian trying to buy birth control with insurance from a Catholic university.

Look, you freaking idiots on DU, there is no "War on women"; Religious groups are simply concerned that Obama is infringing on their religious freedom, because his healthcare law will force them to act against their beliefs and their consciences by requiring them to provide free birth control to their employees. If employees want birth control, they can get it, but they'll just have to pay for it themselves..
For all that the liberals love harping about "Separation of Church and State," Thomas Jefferson invented that concept (Which, btw, is not even in the Constitution) specifically to stop the sorts of trampling on people's religious rights that Obama's law is trying to do.
Jefferson came up with that concept in a letter he wrote to a group of Baptists (Then a religious minority in America) to assure them that the government would not meddle in their church's affairs. Obama is trying to do just that with this birth- control law.

Those fruitbats are all about "equality for all". In our world, women are the dictators. They bitch about conservatives hating women and then bitch about conservative shows SHOWING the woman being the kingpin of the family. They're idiots.

I asked my Father once why he voted for Nixon, he gave me a whole litany of reasons, I asked my Mother why she voted for Kennedy and she said "he was so cute". Democratic women tend to vote emotionally, aesthetically and irrationally, they vote for men who treat women like crap, they hear what they want to hear these men say yet don't look to his actions, whereas Republican women put emotion and aesthetics aside, they vote for strength, they vote for, heck they even run for office to strengthen their Country, and a Countries strength trickles down to their family and their community. We're not short-sighted in our voting, we see the overall picture of what our Country will be like generations from now. Free birth control doesn't equal strength, but a strong military and economy does. So what do we vote for?
-
My first wife's sister voted the same way for Clinton. We're the same age. When asked why, her response was, "he was cute".

I work with one idiot that says he is voting for Obama again. Of course he is one of those types that never watch the news, has no clue about what's going on, but always votes for the DemonRat. Out of a dozen or so people at work, he is the only one that admits to voting for Obama, and it is a union shop.

Big H5!
Yep, the gays and the Mexicans will get a little ginned up controversy this year as well. Media driven and taylor-made for the Democrat Special Interest Group of the Month. The democrats will subsequently tell the latest oppressed group how they are "fighting for" them and the dumbest of them will believe it.
The same worn out playbook in an election year.

Democrats war on women:
Dem strategist Hillary Rosen on CNN says women who run a household don't deal with economic issues.

Well, let's see....
Prop 8 is still around. It's not going to the Supreme Court yet because both sides are afraid of societal backlash. The Yes on 8 (No on gay marriage) people are asking the California Supreme Court to rehear the case.
Bullying is now a big issue. (Odd how when I was a kid, no one wanted legislation for bullying.) Minnesota has just revamped their programs against bullying of LGBT. Maybe there will be some kid who commits suicide and Obama will say if he had a gay son, he'd look like the victim.
Adoption is another issue. Virginia just voted to allow adoption agencies to not adopt out their kids to gay couples. If the governor signs it (and McDonell has nothing to lose at this point), it will take effect July 1st. That's good election timing.
And of course, there could be something new.

The whole purpose of the alleged 'war on women' is capitalistic in nature, it is to sell idiots like you poorly conceived, horribly written books like A Handmaid's Tale by Margarette Atwood and Living Proof by Kira Peikoff.
Buy the books and stop asking questions. Already own them? Buy them again. Waging a war on women ain't cheap, you know.
