I swear to refrigerators with ice makers...if Excedrin does not come back on the FREAKING
market soon I am going to die! You think I'm exaggerating? I'm NOT! Well...not much anyway.

Anyone else ticked off by this? We have people coming in begging to buy the little packets we sell at the store...only I bought them out a month ago. Waaahhhh!

15. I used to feel that way too - had to have REAL Bayer aspirin

but eventually got poor enough to get over it. Now I refuse to pay for brand name of almost anything. If the generic is a bit old and not as effective I just take three or four instead of two.

My last hold-out was real Clorox. Mother was a Clorox devote and it was hard to give up but I finally did.

You are probably benefiting from a very real placebo effect - and that is a good thing! bad headaches deserve to be treated with WHATEVER works!

Just out of curiosity, because I really don't know.

What sort of noise does an ice-maker in a refrigerator make?

Very little. A tiny rumble for a few seconds several times a day. If the ice container is full, the ice maker shust off entirely.

This DUmmy is mentally disturbed. Duuuh.

Hold on.  This primitive has some over the counter medicine (Excedrine) of which people are in desperate need, but he bought it all and won't share?  How compassionate!

I find that Goody Powders are the cure for all. ;-)

I'm with the DUmmy.  I want Excedrin back on the market.  It's the ONLY thing that works for me when my headaches/migraines come about.

I had no idea it was taken off the market.  When did this happen?

I use BC powder... it works fine for me.

Neither did I.

I say BC or Goody's too.  Knock that head hurt right out.

Just don't inhale while you dump it in your mouth.   :-)

Oh now, that is something that you do once, and you never forget.  I'm just glad I'm not the only one.  :-)

January, they shut the factory down due to quality control problems.

Some Excedrin lots contained Percocet, which the same factory made.

For a DUmp democrat that would be like finding a gold nugget in a box of Cracker Jacks.

Good one.

I'll bet the Taverner primitive bought out (or more probably shoplifted) every single package and bottle in his neighborhood, and that's why there aren't any remaining on any store shelves.

Excedrin contains a combination of Acetaminophen (250 mg) , aspirin (250 mg), and caffeine (65 mg).  The generic likely works just as well, and as a last ditch try, you could take tylenol and aspirin the right dosage, followed by a cup of coffee.

I just went through my stash, none of my Excedrins are on the list.

That's the ingredients of Goody powders.
