Hanging incandescent light bulbs, for one.  Christmas (?) lights, for a second thing.

And there's no American flag within the picture . . .

Looking for just on person that is dressed professionally, few people could work at a job coming to work as the do, -------scruffy,---- men shirts hanging out, woman dressed as we do to wash the car.

Educated does not mean you can dress as a beach bum, unless one has tenure as a teacher at Berkley.  Low class people that  have no manners or know that deportment has standards, even if you are a used car salesman.

Just a bunch of youth of voting age that need another reference for work or school on their resumes.

In any place that I worked, including colleges and universities, these folks are so poorly-dressed that they very soon would all be lined up for an "HR Moment," and told by some sotto-voiced "Todd" person (the Human Resource character from The Office whom the boss, Michael, can never-ever resist disrespecting and/or humiliating) about the company's work-dress policy in such a nauseatingly lengthy and mind-numbingly simplistic fashion that anyone with two brain cells very soon would figure out that he or she is getting the sort of treatment that's exclusively reserved for semi-functional idiots.  :loser:

I may be missing it....but if that's a campaign headquarter, shouldn't there be some visible campaign posters or at least something that says Obama?

Looks like a couple fo flags in the background, they may be state flags but they are different colors which also doesn't make sense.

Even the DUmp OP doesn't see it (Bluestateguy):

who wouldn't be caught dead in a repug's campaign office... blah blah blah... I'm an angry old white person who detests angry old white people who vote repug.

This past Monday my mom turned 82. I was in Washington DC until Tuesday, so I didn't hear about this exchange she had with her very very best friend of 76 years (they met in lst grade). The friend grew up like my mother the daughter of a Polish immigrant, the friend's father owned his own corner store & my grandfather & grandmother worked numerous jobs. They both grew up catholic. Mom & friend attended the same high school & their classmate was Derrick Bell (Harvard Law Professor).

The friend called my Mom on her birthday & the friend for whatever reasons began a diatribe against the President and began calling Professor Bell a racist (if Mom would use the computer, she would be posting on DU). Mom was unable to get a word in during this rant, but finally was able to say, that she disagreed with her friend on these issues, and that she, like her husband (Dad's been dead for 12 years) did not discuss politics or religion with friends. Mom was still upset about this conversation on Tuesday. I'm an angry old white person who doesn't like angry old white people upsetting her Mom on her birthday.

Maybe that Polish immigrant saw what Marxism, Leninism, and Stalinism could do.

Anybody buy that her elderly mother went to high school with Derrick Bell?

Being an unpaid volunteer qualifies as work?

For a resume, absolutely, aside from the networking and ass-kissing that goes on to get a post-campaign job, even if every one of those people really was an unpaid volunteer.

Not one person in that room has ever been self-supporting.
Their version of self-supporting involves not relying on an employer for a paycheck and living off of the gov't teet.

Well, let's see...Derrick Bell was born in 1930 in Pittsburgh. He would have been in high school from 1944-1947. Pittsburgh schools were not desegregated until after Brown v Board in 1954.

So, no. Not for one second.

I see the glass as half fun in this picture Coach.  I'm sure at one time the Andrew Breitbart's and David Horowitz's and Robin's from Berkeley were once in a similar picture, but are now/were our staunchest allies.
I'm in a positive mood today.  I got my much awaited "Breitbart Is Here" t-shirt today, and I think the New Media is going to be the undoing of Obama.

Stunning lack of diversity in Obama campaign, photos reveal

A photo of Obama’s “army” originally posted on the campaign’s Tumblr site and run in conjunction with a BuzzFeed story  on the Obama campaign reveals a stunning lack of diversity among the president’s Chicago staff.

The Obama campaign’s Chicago headquarters has it all—from Jack Daniels and Ping Pong to bouncy balls and ironic desk mementos.

Yet the “army of twenty-somethings” campaign manager Jim Messina has assembled in the president’s hometown is almost uniformly white, according to photos contained in a detailed BuzzFeed report Monday.

Further examination of the Obama’s campaign’s Tumblr site over the past month reveals very few black individuals—apart from the president and his wife, Michelle—in the pictures posted in the feed.
