In a letter sent to Seminole County NAACP President Turner Clayton, a "concerned Zimmerman family member" said "there will be blood on your hands" if George Zimmerman, the Hispanic neighborhood watch volunteer who shot Trayvon Martin, is hurt.
The letter did not just single out Clayton, however. The unidentified family member said "the rest of the racists that have rushed" to judge Zimmerman will also have blood on their hands if he is hurt.
"You need to call off the dogs. Period. Publicly and swiftly,†the letter added.

I didn't see any outrage over the threats and bounties put out on Zimmerman, yet I'm sure every DUmpmonkey will be outraged over this.

They need to be able to claim that the only reason SCOAMF is a SCOAMF is because the GOP acted as unprincipled obstructionists and that was due to them being inherently racist. The more popularly unpopular his policies the broader the requirement for inherent racism.
If 65% of America hate ObamaCare then 65% of America must be racist.
The best way to prove that allegation is to show racism is so intense that white men will chase down cherub faced black children and execute them at gunpoint.
Without the latter story you cannot claim proof for the former.
The worse thing that could happen to the left would be an absence of racism.

I'm at home for the moment, and then take off on the road west for a few hours, and will be gone until Wednesday evening. I'm hoping to get back in time to watch the big guy live-blogging on Skins's island from his fund-raiser down over there in Bellevue.
I'm actually just posting this as a reminder. In case anyone's forgotten.
The big guy's fund-raiser at that bar in Bellevue is tomorrow (Wednesday), April 4, circa 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and so watch for it on Skins's island. The first person who posts news of it gets my undying gratitude and affection.
You know, there's a couple of things that bother me about this fund-raiser.
In the first place, why on a week-night, when people have to go to work the next morning?
One suspects perhaps the bar charges a lower fee on slow nights than busy nights?
And why only three hours? That's not much time for communing with thousands of fans and raiding their wallets. There's probably going to be a mile-long string of people waiting to get inside (the Nebraska fire marshall allows only so many people per square foot in bars), and they'll go away disappointed, and the big guy won't get anything.
If the big guy had paid any attention to the well-intended advice of franksolich, I would've advised and counseled him a long time to schedule the thing for a Friday or Saturday night, from circa 5:00 p.m. until the bar has to close at 1:00 a.m.
But the big guy doesn't listen to his fellow Nebraskan, so screw it.

If Mr Zimmerman were a smart man, he would be cataloging all of these instances from the networks and the racists to have one hell of a lawsuit when this is over.

April 4 is the 44th anniversary of the martyrdom of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This week is Holy Week. So what do Trayvon Martin, Dr. King and Jesus have in common? No, this question isn't the beginning of a bad joke -- the answer is hopefully apparent. They were all killed in the midst of a political climate that justified fear and legalized hate.
