Here is James Taranto interviewing Cardinal Dolan.
The president of the U.S. Conference of Bishops is careful to show due respect for the president of the United States. "I was deeply honored that he would call me and discuss these things with me," says the newly elevated Cardinal Timothy Dolan, archbishop of New York. But when Archbishop Dolan tells me his account of their discussions of the ObamaCare birth-control mandate, Barack Obama sounds imperious and deceitful to me.

who has been instrumental in turning the Wall Street Urinal's editorial page into an ideological cesspool.
So now a man of the cloth, a cardinal no less, has something to with a financial magazine's editorial pages. I could say modern liberalism has turned the New York Times into a cess pool of a news paper that even other liberals have no great interest in, but then I would be telling the truth unlike you.

Interesting choice of words
If there is nothing "left" to lose then everything remaining would be "right" or conservative. I'm sure Janis didn't mean it this way, but certainly this proposal coming to fruition would be the ultimate in freedom.

As I am not sure what the hell is going on here please be patient.
America became a Content of nothing left to loose by those that came here and the Indigenous people that tried to fight them off.
Freedom is an escape for people that all over the world, so Freedom means what, the ability to live as on wishes, choose what church they wish to attend and marry who they wish??? Not so long Freedom did not mean one could get a trade if they were Irish ,Italion French, Jewish or Black. Had to work hard and fight for the Freedom one wishes.
Freedom is the ability to go and seek what they want, this in now way allowes them the right for their wishes, all depends on the individual to find a way to get what they want on their own and fight with their Witt's to get it.
Freedom is for the risk takers, those that bet their lives on a dream, those like our Founding Fathers that put their lives and that of their family's on the line, their money, land and all they had worked for up front.
Freedom is not free, it costs lives, blood sweat and tears for those that fight for it. Freedom is an Idea that has many facets, few today would risk their family's lives, children to the notion of Freedom for others.
So easy to give up freedom for safety we believe we have. So easy to be cowered into believing that to fight will just make life harder on us. Starts young when a child runs into a bully and the parent wanting the child to ignore this or even give in as to make a big stink about it may make life harder on the kid. Goes into Adult life the fear of standing up for ones rights may cause worse problems.----Don't make problems harder on yourself.
Freedom is what others grant us, May take a bit of a fight to get Freedom from others to live as we wish. We may loose that fight but others will rally round and if one needs them and somehow in America we will win the War to be free, not today or tomorrow but there comes a time when we find we have overcome the users and controller and even 30 years into the future, ONE can be free to follow that Dream.

Freedom's Just Another Word for Go **** You
Every now and then the Lefties get angry and the truth accidentally comes out. They despise the constitution and all the freedoms enshrines therein. They have no intention of maintaining a democracy.
The left wants a one party tyranny. They want utter control of the lives beneath them. They despise free peoples who can chose not to obey a liberal whim. And as long as the people own guns, the left cannot succeed.
