The War on Wisconsin

Rebecca Kleefisch, lieutenant governor of Wisconsin

Now is the time for all good tea partiers to come to the aid of Wisconsin. Fiscally conservative leaders in the Badger State are under coordinated siege from Big Labor, the White House, the liberal media, and the judiciary. The yearlong campaign of union thuggery, family harassment, and intimidation of Republican donors and businesses is about to escalate even further. This is the price the Right pays for doing the right thing.

The most visible target is Governor Scott Walker, who faces recall on June 5 over his tough package of state-budget and public-employee-union reforms. Three state GOP legislators — Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald and Senators Van Wanggaard and Terry Moulton — also face recall. A fourth target, staunch union reformer and Second Amendment advocate Senator Pam Galloway, announced she was stepping down last week — leaving the legislature deadlocked and Democratic strategists salivating.

Quote
When lefty Wisconsin radio host John “Sly” Sylvester accused Kleefisch of performing “fellatio on all the talk-show hosts in Milwaukee” and sneered that she had “pulled a train” (a crude phrase for gang sex), feminists remained silent. A former television anchor, small-business woman, and mother of two, Kleefisch has done quiet work on economic development that has reaped untold dividends for the state. But if conservatives who preach the gospel of fiscal conservatism do not act, the profligate progressives’ vendetta against Wisconsin may result in the first-ever recall of a lieutenant governor in American history.

Disgusting.

If the left wins in WI we're probably doomed in November.

I have faith that Governor Walker will win.  I did not know the others listed were also up for recall.  I told my husband last night that I don't care either way.  I don't live in WI anymore.  If people who want Walker out want their taxes to go up again and become an Illinois Lite, then they get what they deserve.  I feel bad for those who voted for Walker in November 2010 and wanted him in until the next election.  If people were unhappy with Walker, they can wait like everyone else and vote him out when it's time.

I dunno; I'm not God, but this could blow up like egg in their faces.

We'll see.

Nice. :naughty:

Had to Nadin her. Turns out my suspicions were right. She's a Republican. Hot women tend to be Republican.

I highly doubt that, the democrats are doing too much work to run themselves into extinction as a party.

I think the good people of Wisconsin will be screwed (again) for a very long time.

Dem Milwaukee mayor Tom Barrett just decided to run against Walker in the recall. That means unless Falk backs out that there could be a half-way decent democrat primary.

Right now the unions are endorsing Falk. Barrett used Walker's ACT 10 fixes to balance his city's budget. Be interesting to see what their strategy in the primary is going to be. Try to appeal to the hard-core liberal and pro-union base or to the moderates with an eye towards the general election. Either way, hopefully there will be some good dem on dem  :catfight:
