Hi, I continue to have intermittent problems leaving a comment when on a jury. The problem varies, but always with the same general symptom. At the usual point, I am presented with the opportunity to write a comment. I write the comment. Then I try to click the button to move to the next step and nothing happens. If I select the option to *not* leave a comment, my vote is counted and the comment discarded.
On my desktop Mac, in Firefox, I am unable to leave the message. If I fire up Safari, it works fine.
On my Macbook, there's no problem at all. It works fine with either Firefox or Safari.
On my iPads and iPhones, in any browser (Safari, Diigo, or Opera) I am unable to leave a comment.
Do you have any clue at all what might be going on? Others have reported similar issues and there have been threads about in the past here in H&M. Suggestions were offered but nothing has worked and the problems persist. Any help would be most appreciated.

1. Second this.
I've had comments dropped several times.

2. Could it be that you are running apple products?
Not meant to be snarky or anything, but I have never had that issue on several different PC's running XP and Vista and using Firefox or IE.
Other than that, I would have no clue why you are having issues.
I only had jury duty once on my iPhone, I don't recall any issues with safari on that.
Good luck.

3. I don't know why you're having a problem.

but since you can get it to work on some browsers and not others, I suspect it's a problem with your software. Could be javascript settings or updates needed, security software interfering, browser needs to be updated, or any number of things.
Sorry I can't be of more help, but I would start by updating all your software, particularly javascript, and dig through your preferences/settings on the browsers that don't work.
Hmmmm.
I'll bet chris_ could figure it out.
Too bad for the primitives.

4. I run Ubuntu/Firefox.
Most of the time it works. Twice that I am sure of it ate my comment. I sometimes run with Javascript turned off. I don't expect you to do anything, just offering clues. User error is certainly a possibility too.

Well, I read this entirely differently. Remembering that DUmmies lie, all the time, I don't believe it has anything whatever to do with jury comments.
I think bald DUmpmonkey Mike is firing back at any insinuation that he isn't really a wealthy mafioso.
He wants all the DUmp to believe that his home, cramped and cluttered and pedestrian as it may be, is brimming chock full with expensive electronic gadgets.
Wow, I'm impressed! DUmpmonkey Mike must be a rich guy after all!

On my RollsPod everything works perfectly all the time. It even knows what answers I'm going to give before I give them and it only puts the wrong answers when it knows I am going to change my mind.
The best part, though, is the RollsCare. They helicopter in, at their own cost, a RollsGenius if ever I have a technical problem.
Why anyone would settle for anything else is beyond me.

Oh wow, he has a Mac? a Macbook? an IPAD? and an Iphone?

Yeah, but I bet he really hates those greedy oil companies.

I don't even have that and I'm supposed to be a rich Republican.

Simple... I don't use Firefox. Don't buy the hype, DUde.
I use Safari on my PC and have no problems with it. FF is not worth the headaches it causes.

What's the problem with FF?

Ever used it?
It's terrible. It's turned into everything everyone complained Internet Explorer was... a slow, buggy resource pig that ran like crap and crashed at the drop of a hat. I removed it entirely and installed Safari just to have something different. I still use IE 8 at work and have no problems with it, but it doesn't get nearly as much work as my computer at home does.
Ask CG648... :-)

My thoughts exactly! looks like a, "mine is more bigger and more expensive than yours", pissin' contest.
StinkFinger is always doin' shit like this.

I don't have much choice. My satellite is optimized for Mozilla. Never had a problem though. Could be because they have some deal betwixt the two. If I use IE, seems to slow down considerably. Never tried Safari.

Sounds like the "consultant" has been raiding restaurant tip jars to buy his gadgets.

I love Firefox and NEVER use IE except when I have to get on AKO. The Army admins apparently still don't know how to administer a f'n website.
