His failure to respond to three letters sent to the White House was because there was no "political value" and not worthy of a few minutes of his time.
They spoke out as teenager Shawn Tyson began a life sentence after being found guilty of the murder of James Cooper and James Kouzaris last April.
The 17 year old, who shot the men as they begged for their lives, will die in prison.
Obama did not speak out when James Cooper and James Kouzaris were murdered and they are British. Does not reflect well on America.

Same here. I never understood why Obama would comment on something that is local like Trayvon Martin or Dr. Louis Gates. I have never seen him make comments on other crime, whether the victim is non-Black or Black.

While its stupid that Obama got involved with the Trayvon debacle, who cares if the president doesn't comment on some random murder? Its not the president's responsibility to send condolence letters to every person killed in the country.

It wouldn't have mattered had he not injected himself into the Tray'von debacle. Then again, due to the very nature of the two Brits, it being an international incident, there is a precedent that the President at least have something to say. ...but they were white and wouldn't look like any kids he would have.

I think Obama should send a personal hand written note to every single one of those families. In fact, a separate letter for each member of those families.

Well blow me up as a Puffer Fish, since when did Obama or any other President have any other duty then to Protect America from what are demostic or foreign invaders.
What is the Oath our service men take when they enlist or in the past drafted ????
The President has just ONE job, to serve as leader for our protection, he sends others out to secure our place of Trade and security. He has to make friends with other Governments for mutual protection. When a State has a problem due to weather, then he may decide to bail them out, not for that one states relief but for the relief of the country.
Why is Obama going out like a big daddy and not allowing the states Governors to control their own state??? Why not hold the states governors to be accountable for what happens in their state and MAKE them fix any problem.
Floods ,Tornadoes, and hurricanes are expected to happen, why not expect the Governors to anticipate and have a plan in place to protect and if necessary rebuild the state????
Take away the power of the States leaders, expect them to do nothing but sign a few state laws and are under the thumb of the Federal Government. This is usurping the laws of the states and making everyone dependent on the fuc*ed up Feds.
Problems on the southern border states with all the drugs and illegals, why not allow the States Governors and people to deal with this on their own and sink or swim do what they must.?
Don't you give me any shit about the Civil War and States rights-----We are far past our history in the past.
Time to allow the States to force their Governor's to do the job they were elected to do. Force our elected Representatives to REPRESENT us come hell or high water. Hold each and every one we vote into office to in each State to work for US, earn their pay and be held accountable for their State.
