What I find interesting is that this happened in Jan., but MasterIdiot is just now tooting his horn about it.

32 gallons an hour...I would have asked him if he had twin 16V71 DETROITs in it.

Here's the bouncy. I doubt its veracity.

My Encounter With A 1%'er - Toxic Talk Toxic Nation

I was in the San Diego area in January right after the new year and had a strange encounter with a 1%'er.
My wife and I were at the Oceanside Marina having lunch at restaurant. You could see the marina from our table and I watched this nearly probably $500,000 boat dock at its parking dock. An older couple got out with their little dog and went to the front of the restaurant area. Because there were some small houseboats I wanted to take photos of I decided to go around back after we finished lunch. I had seen them last year and wanted a couple more pictures.
As I was walking toward the back of this yacht to get a better angle of a boat I was interested in, this old guy was standing by his boat. I asked him how much fuel it took to run it. He told me it burned 32 gallons and hour on a one way 3 hour trip from San Diego.
As I went to the back of the dock he asked me if I was the owner of the Prius that had a "turn off Fox" sticker on the back of my car. When I said yes he said, "You don't like the idea of free speech in this country do you?" I said, "Well I support free speech but I not support telling lies all the time and distorting the facts". He then said, "I suppose you like Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews." And I replied, "Yes as a matter of fact I do like them and I like Keith Olberman even more". He then got huffy and yelled at me, "You are nothing but a damned communist". I told I his was not a communist as I walked back toward the restaurant. As he got on his boat he was yelling at me "Get away from my boat! Get away from my boat!" That last thing I said was "I am a Vietnam vet I fought for your right to feel that way". I am not sure he heard me.
Now I did not challenge this guy. Nor did I get nasty back. But this encounter shows you how hateful we are becoming and we are becoming more armed every day.
We are now a toxic nation full of hate and vitriol spurred on by 24//7 by thousands of hours of super heated hate radio. And I remember Lincoln's words "A nation divided cannot stand". The latest controversy over the Tayvon Martin cold blooded murder illustrates how we are descending into a maelstrom. 1 Tweet
The bolded part? Didn't happen.

LOL Karin, I stopped reading at the part you bolded.

I'd say this didn't happen:

Why do the DUmmies have to be so fake?
So this guy who just docked his boat did what? Walked through the parking lot and saw his Prius? From the size of the boat, because we know the DUmmie isn't lying, I would imagine he would have had to dock on the very end of the dock. So what he comes of the dock after a three hour trip from San Diego and walks through the parking lot?
And the conversation is about as good as all their bouncies... nobody, except very few conservatives, ARE CONFRONTATIONAL LIKE THAT!!! THE DUMMIES ARE THE ONES WHO ACT LIKE THIS!

Here is the only part that's true, and I'm sure it happens every time a DUmp democrat is around a marina:
he was yelling at me "Get away from my boat!
At any nice marina, a democrat would stick out like a sore thumb.

ZERO Bong.

The tiny handful of democrats who own boats are the jerks who wait until they're on the ramp to load all their shit from the truck into the boat.
Then when they leave the water they reverse the process, loading shit into their truck while blocking the ramp.
It's always a damn 0bamaite.

I'd be a bit careful in the Oceanside area. Camp Pendleton is right down the road. As they would say, Semper Fi.
(As an army guy, I would never quote it myself in respect for the USMC).

Are you all tugging my tail ??????
No one that has been around the Docks with a boat worth $85,000 ---$500,000 + is even going to speak to a stranger.
They may talk to people that come along side in a canoe or Kayak but not to just some stranger that asks questions. And the person speaking may not be the Skipper owner, may just be a work mate.
People are cautious today, if they are hailed by a strange vessel they are on guard of what they want and who they be.
One does not just sail into port and tie up without paper work, has to know what slip is open and if a first timer, open to suspicion.
One does not go into a strange port and leave the boat unguarded much less walk about in a parking lot looking at the bumper stickers on cars.
No Old folks will leave their boat with their little dog to just walk off unless they are in eye sight of their boat.
Now it is possible these people did tie up and chow down, but what did the do with their little dog ??? Unless they owned the restaurant I cannot see their Dog being allowed inside.
Dock hands will talk to strangers but they keep it low key, the privacy of the owners is first and fore most.
This story had to have come from a fresh water sailor, NO way, No how on the salty brine.

Must be a Yankee thing because down at Mexico Beach Marina and Port St. Marina, no one has a problem striking up a conversion with people who happen to have expensive boats. When I think 85K-500K, I'm thinking this:

Somehow, I think you're not good with numbers and are thinking of this:

Shit that's a slow damn boat at 32 GPH. A damn old Hatteras MY with skidder motors would be burning about 75 GPH around 20 knots.
I want that damn 28 classic reb posted, well as long as its got diesels and straight shaft :bird: jack shafts
