I'm sort of concerned because Socialist Steve, on the advice of nutcase nadin, has gone silent.
You might say he's DUmmied up. He only posts lame copy-and-paste junk from left wing labor websites.
So far, he hasn't been honest with Bellevue voters. Not a word from Steve about his lifelong socialism. Not a word on what he wants to do on council.
I don't know about you, but I'm sort of sad and embarrassed when I see someone who's so obviously embarrassed by who and what he truly is.
We'll have people there at his April 4 Bear's Bar party, eating his mini tacos and wings, trying to help him become more honest.

He should have taken frank up on his kind offer to assist his campaign. Don't know if that option is still open, but if it is Socialist Steve had better hurry, it's getting late in the game.

Do you think that if we create a few fliers for Steve, we can forward them to the bar. We give them the message to pass them out during the party.
Such an idea would be extremely illuminating for his bar-going constituency. After all, http://www.electstevedawes.com is spot-on with Steve's actual record and work experience, and having this information distributed would go a long way toward making his constituency work.
If anyone is in the area, we can forward the flyers to him/her, and he/she can deliver it during the event and maybe pick up a few of his mini-tacos (though I don't think Steve eats anything with the word "mini" anywhere in it) and wings for his/her trouble for distributing the flyer, complete with http://www.electestevedawes.com in a conspicuous spot or three.

I'd just send them to Bear's Bar, over there at 2210 Franklin St. in Bellevue. They'd probably just be tossed, but who knows?

50 is about 45 more than I expect will attend.
$25 a head for mini-tacos and wings, and buy your own beer? I'm glad it's a "suggested donation". Plenty of parking for my big blue bike, right out front! Look for the biker-lookin' guy eating wings like an Ethiopian, and wiping his mouth with campaign flyers.

If it holds fifty, it will be like holding a six-year-old's birthday party in the Superdome.
Considering four candidates, and the minuscule turnout a May primary usually gets, Socialist Steve will be lucky to reach fifty votes.
This campaign event will probably fit nicely at a single table, in a corner of the bar, back by the restroom doors.
The drunks who spend every evening at Bear's, hunched over a shot and a beer, won't even know the party's going on.

Since the Republican presidential primary might still be relevant when Nebraska has its primary May 15--and barring that, or with that, the hyperactive Republican senatorial campaign going on--Republican turnout at the polls should be pretty good.
Since the Democrat presidential candidate is a "given," and lackluster interest in the Democrat senatorial candidate, Democrat turnout at the polls should be pretty low--not to mention Democrats are a pretty rare breed this year, due to the 0bamafiascos.

There's an older fellow that comes to the country store. He's over 80 and in excellent health, works his farm everyday. He has voted democrat all his life and used to preach us a sermon about how great FDR and the democrats are/were. He voted for Obama, had all kinds of crazy ideas of how Obama was going to change the world and do good things for us common people. Why, Obama was going to be greater than FDR.
He doesn't come around much any more and when he does, one of the fellows (never me) will mention Obama or those damn democrats and he's gone in a flash.
He is thoroughly ashamed of how he voted and what Obama has done... :-) We tried to tell him but oh no, "The democrats are the only ones that have ever done anything for the little man."...Sure.

Well, you might recall that last autumn, when the big guy spilled the beans, I did make that most-generous offer to manage his campaign (the first thing I would've done was yank him off of Skins's island); after all, it's not like franksolich doesn't have some experience in this, and successful experience.
Well, he didn't pay franksolich any attention.
Odd, in light of that if the big guy were to listen to professional Democrats, he wouldn've received exactly the same counsel and advice from them, as from franksolich.
The big guy's not paying attention to anyone but his own bloated ego and big mouth.
And now we got someone who's pre-empted franksolich, professional Democrats, and the big guy himself, in managing his campaign; his friends who so kindly put together www.electstevedawes.com

I've had the honor of being a lifelong UAW member, so I don't understand issues in right to work states.
How is it, in right to work states, that they can claim a wrongful termination when the company doesn't need a reason to fire you?
Aren't they at will employees?
With Indiana passing a RTW law and MI in the crosshairs, I need to get a better understanding of the issues.
