Title: Rain, rain, don't go away!

At last it's raining here.  :hi5:  :bow2:

All day, off and on. About 3/4" so far. We've received only about 1/3 of our normal rain/snow, and it's really getting dry out there.

As of 6 AM this morning, we received about 7.5 inches of rain in the last 72 hours. My yard looked like a lake, and the street had about 2' of water on it at the crown.

I think we had enough, TYVM        :argh:

We ended up with 2" in 24 hours. It may rain off and on through today and tonight, much colder starting tomorrow afternoon.

We've had a shitload of rain in the past week. Damn yard won't dry out long enough to mow it and, of course, it's growing like a damned weed.  :mad:

Grass is growing rapidly here, too, but I haven't got the black dirt I need to spread around, so I have to keep the plow blade on the tractor.  :panic:

Not sure of the total rainfall of late. Was enough for the counties to lift the burn ban though. The two main lakes that provide the city water to most of central Texas were about 15 feet down a while back.
