I wonder how Tim Tebow feels about this?

I'm going to laugh my ass off if the Jets win the super Bowl.
I think the Broncos did him wrong. Both from a business stand point & because they think they acquired superman as as QB.

I don't follow football, but after hearing the attacks on Tebow this past year from the left, I hope he does well and his former team tanks.

Just heard on ESPN radio that the deal is off for the moment. ???

I think that John Elway will probably regret his decision the first time a defensive end cranks Peyton from his blindside.

There's some disagreement who has to pay toward a clause in his contract. Not sure of the exact details.

Peyton's Neck and arms recently having medical procedures performed on were of concern to any team entertaining picking him up. One good sack could send him into retirement.
That's why I thought they would keep Tebow as backup.
I think the Bronco' are scrambling for the $$ to pay Peyton.

Either way, I personally don't think he'll last the next season. I hope I'm wrong, I don't want to see the man suffer.

hate to say it but they aren't paying him 95 million to look pretty. Sure a fair chunk of it is predicated upon performance but a huge chunk of it is guaranteed.

From ESPN's Adam Schefter...
Filed to ESPN (1): Denver and Jets have encountered hangup in language in Tim Tebow’s contract that could nullify trade.
(2) If the Tebow trade to Jets falls apart, St. Louis could wind up getting back into play. Sides sorting through details.
Tim Tebow has $5 million worth of recapture language, meaning Jets would have to pay back money to Denver. Jets might be unwilling. Complex.
The same money issues in Tim Tebow’s contract caused complications for Jacksonville trying to complete trade. Now Jets facing them…
Jets-Broncos agreed to Tim Tebow trade before Denver asked NY to pay back portion of bonuses and salary already paid to Tebow. No deal yet.

I don't care if Tebow plays for the "Wysacky Cotton Pickers", I hope he wins the super bowl next year and Denver plays in the "Tidy Bowl".
Wysacky....a fork in the road in the middle of a huge cotton field in S.C..

I was prepared to root for Tebow no matter where he landed...
...except the Jets.
I will NEVER be a Jets fan.
I've known too many Jets fans.

It's funny, though. Jets fans have no problems with gangster type thugs and drug use from their players, but they don't want a Christian on their team.
