Hey Fellow Travelers!

My name is AsphaltPilot.  I've been a lurker here for a while but have had to resist posting because of my mole.  Got that problem solved, and now want to join in on the fun!

So. Cal. Native here.  I chose the screenname AsphaltPilot because I worked as an OTR driver for a while.  Damn fine job.  The only reason I got out of it was being gone 20 out every 30 days was getting to be a drag on the marriage, and I was fearful of leaving my wife at home alone during the wintertime when it's possible we could have snow up to 3' deep after a good storm.

I love givin' 'em hell at the DUmp, and whoa, isn't nads something?  So now she's a seismologist ALA Lucy Jones?  Who knew?

Haven't heard that name since I (gladly) left CA.
