The list goes on.
Most of his stupid shit stems from his need to be pope as well as president. OK, fine, I get it: social conservatism and economic conservatism are not as separable as libertarians want to believe them to be but surely this asshat knows what his constitutional and electoral constraints are. It's not like this is his first campaign.
He is the front-runner of the anti-Romney ticket and he hopes to be the anti-Obama ticket. Yet, just like Romney, he can't stop saying stupid shit. He knows the M$M is in the tank already, why does he insist filling the tank for the sharks?
Yes, I trust Santorum to (mostly) do the right thing when he gets to the WH but asshat has to get there first. Basing your campaign on your private morals and the general populace's dislike of the challenger is NOT a viable strategy.
People want jobs so they can afford their pr0n subscriptions, not because they feel they don't own enough sweater vests. The pr0n fight will only play well in Mr. Roger's neighborhood. For the rest of us we want the debate settled by 2 college coeds wrestling in a kiddie pool filled with cottage cheese.
Economics is Obama's #1 weakness. Personal likeability is Obama's #1 strength. Attacking Obama on the I'm-nicer-than-he-is front is playing to the weakest opponent's strongest point. That alone makes Santorum a ****ing moron.

I don't want to see him in the general, either. There's too much fodder for stupid sheeple. I've also long held that you can't legislate morality, beyond not hurting or stealing from each other and the like. My conservatism is largely fiscal.

Me neither. I don't like Romney but at least he does not go off on tangents like contraception one week and porn the next. That is a losing strategy in defeating Obama in the general.

At this stage, my biggest concern about Romney is he wont take the fight to 0bama. I'm not sure Santorum would either but he doesn't seem quite as McCainez to me as Romney does.
Romney is going to be on the Vicki McKenna show tomorrow at 4:15 PM central time. I'm going to email her a question for him, which is, "Will you take the fight to 0bama?" which is my main issue at this stage of the game.

Good question. I think he will take the fight to Obama unlike McCain. I also think these primaries will make our nominee more prepared in the Presidential debates and dealing with the media to put an ass whipping on Obama.

This is where it should've always been.
Instead of the spectacle of watching the various Republican candidates--dropped out and current--try to knock each other down, they should've been trying to knock the Big Zero down, with the one doing the best punches becoming the Republican nominee.
As a professional Republican, I've been greatly disappointed in this.

He rammed most of the Contract with American thru Congress with a Democratic President. Let me know of any other House Repub Speaker that has accomplished more than him. I know all about the gaffs he has made including the one with Pisslosi but actions speak louder than words. The problem with politicians is that they all have a high Bullshit meter attached to their mouth and lips. Furthermore, a Repub President is not going to do us that much good if the present wimpy Repub speaker of the House and Senate is not removed.

Santorum isn't saying he wants to make porn illegal...just enfore the laws on the books. Keep minors form seeing it.
He hasn't based his campaign on morals...this whole morals thing was started by the MSM in the January debate and gone viral in the rest of the Liberal media.
