Posted by GOBUCKS: All he wants to talk about is some ratty old theater in Omaha.
Preservationists and theater lovers kicked in a couple hundred bucks in less than 24 hours thanks to the above comment. I appreciate everything the dwellers are doing to help me raise $ to win in November!

The good voters of Bellevue's First Ward will not be happy to hear that the corpulent carpetbagger is whoring himself on DU because he has no local support.
That, but there's something else too.
Nebraska's strict on campaign-financing laws; in fact it's rare that a candidate doesn't at least get his hand lightly slapped for one infraction or another.
No major scandals or anything since such laws were passed, but there's a great deal of diligence and peanut-counting among the bureaucrats charged with checking out campaign finance reports.
If the big guy persists in inflating how much money he's raised to the primitives, and his campaign treasurer reports a different total to the bureaucrats, there might arise some serious questions, from both the primitives and the bureaucrats.
Again, for about the 19th time, I seriously counsel my fellow Nebraskan to leave the finance reporting up to his treasurer, himself being mum about the subject.

Honestly as much as I am not a fan of Nebraska football but I watch it to see if the other team somehow manages to win,why should it even matter if the kids gay or not Socialist Steve? I'm pretty certain that no matter who the coach has been since at least the days of Bob Devany that all they are concerned about is if the kid can catch and make tackles. Otherwise he has no business on their team. If you want an issue dealing with any NCAA football team then maybe you should ask why the colleges feel the need to recruit kids that have records of bad or even criminal behavior and become a hazard to not only their teamates but the public in general.

The guy's bounced from short-term job to short-term job in 30-32 years, and he within the past five years managed to buy a house in Bellevue.
Now, there's nothing wrong with bouncing from short-term job to short-term job, especially if one doesn't have more than a high school diploma and no skills. One does whatever it takes, to survive.
And I believe there's a self-admitted bankruptcy involved here (my apologies to the big guy if I confused him with another primitive).
However, that's not good credentials for a bank giving a mortgage.
I don't know the housing market; I wonder if a mortgage was gotten on the basis of the big guy's wife's earnings--she had a pretty stable career until the Democrats took over Congress on January 3, 2007, and all went downhill--or if the big guy took a premature inheritance from his mother, or borrowed money from his sister, to bring the Dawes household up to mortgage-lending standards.
Bellevue has a budget of tens of millions of bucks; if I were a voter in Bellevue, I'd be a little leery about having the big guy decide how to get it and spend it.
