Title: Nutcase nadin Reports On Hailstorm Calamity
Post by: GOBUCKS on March 11, 2012, 12:26:51 AM
Nutcase nadin, crack unpaid reporter for a free, far-left internet blog, reports on an unprecedented meteorological calamity in that shithole south of the border:

Not in the news yet, freak icetorm in Mexico city

One area got hail up to over six feet deep...nobody got seriously hurt, some cars suffered damage. They will clear this manually...it looks impressive.

Correction, since I need to check conversation

1 meter= 3.24 feet. I'd say four feet.

First photos....good news most of this looks like this...not that bad. I saw the reporter sing boom, literally a corner ten minutes away from where I sit...we got a few, no accumulation...feel cheated...I would have taken photos too

http://www.democraticunderground.com/1002410322

Unfortunately for the rotund nutcase, she links to actual photos of the disaster.

Her problem is more than just a little metric-to-real-world conversion, or is it "conversation":
http://tablet.terra.com.mx/gallery/66c3c499a8ff5310VgnVCM4000009bf154d0RCRD

That hail accumulation appears to be just a poco short of four feet deep.

Isn't she from San Diego?

That's your problem right there-she's probably never seen "snow/hail" in her life.  It seems like someone who has never seen snow always freaks out at a couple flakes.  Heck, I've had dandruff heavier than that snowfall.

Nads runs in circles trying her best to stomp out little fires.

19. Hail tends to flow with the rain water

and pile up once the rain reaches level ground. So after the storm there are deep piles in low lying areas and next to nothing on higher ground. DUmpmonkey speaks the truth

Looks like she doesn't read Spanish either, I was wondering where the 1 meter thing came from.

Quote
El peso del granizo acumulado provocó la caída de seis domos de un metro cuadrado cada uno en Plaza Antara, en Polanco, lo que dejó un saldo de siete personas lesionadas.

Google translation:

The weight of accumulated hail brought down six domes of one square meter each in square Antara Polanco, so that left seven people injured.

That's the only mention of 1 meter in her linked story.  :lmao:

5. Boom went down to his knees...six inches would have been good

As I wrote, I am impressed...major intersenctions are currently closed, and some people are either going to be trapped at home, or go to a hotel.

Most of it was ten inches at most...and to be expected the ceiling of one of the markets collapsed. Good news...none got hurt...seriously that is. Literally typing as it's covered by radio formula, tv edition.

First she says 6'. Then she sticks with 4' and claims that the reporter measured it with his boom. The boom went down to his knees. Just how tall is this reporter?

As for the interseNctions, I've been to Mexico and I agree that it's hell when the interseNctions are closed.

I'm curious where the "most of it was ten inches at most" comment came from. Based on on the photos at the link...well...I think she must have used the same ruler that liberals use to measure their peckers.

Once again, Nads is creating news outa thin air.
Her mental disorder means she is unable to back down even from obvious falsehoods.

There are times I have difficulty believing she is even married, she is so utterly insufferable. My heart goes out to the poor man stuck with her.

Yeah, you'll be waiting a bit.

IIRC, it was a few years back that a nice little hailstorm hit the Seacoast where great amounts of vehicle damage was done, and many cars still bear the dents from that day.

And yet I know that's nowhere near what happens near a tornado in the Midwest, where baseball-sized hail crashes windows for those poor souls unfortunate enough to be caught in the open.

Heh! She couldn't baffle 'em with her BS, so she pulled the thread!

They don't get hail storms like this in Tornado Alley! I know, cause I lived there!

She's full of shit as usual! First it was 6 feet, then it was 3.28 feet, then she pulls the thread! Another DUmmie has it at 10 inches, then, she backs off and pulls the tread! Bwahahahahahahahahahaha!!

WTF? Didn't she think anyone was goin' to check the facts? Well, she is dealin' with DUmmies, so maybe she didn't!

(edited to add!)

Completely and certifiably insane, you egomaniacal twit.

Next question?

Didn't I read she lived in Mehico? Ah'm pretty sure they only use the metric system down there, right?

Uh, NadaBrain, everything in metric is powers of ten. What power of ten, is 60??? Does the number one hundred ring a bell, stooooopid? 50 centimeters is shy of 2 feet. Look it the **** up, moron!

Lord, I cannot believe your captive audience lets you get away with this shit. Oh I know I know,(holds hand up and yells, "Pick me, pick me!), you lock the ****in' thread whenever your "happy place" is threatened, doncha?!!!

Guess that's one way to live in "Never Never Land" Huh, Nada??

60 centimeters is 6 meters.

0.6 meter or 6/10 of a meter.

60 centimeters = 6 decimeters ...and 10 decimeters = a meter.

60 centimeters is 6 meters.
Wrong.
"Centi" means hundred.
60 centimeters = 6000 meters
I believe that is settled science.

The hail was miles deep, but only in a very small neighborhood of mexico city.

I got it.
.6 meter=6/10 of a meter.
6/10th = 3/5ths....or, three, fifths.
The amount of cheap booze, Nads had sucked down before posting the BS.
