Socialist Steve Dawes, candidate for Ward 1 councilman in Bellevue, Nebraska has revealed another plank in his platform: If elected, Socialist Steve Dawes will help Nebraska University recruit more queer Cornhuskers for the football team.
Really, what more can Socialist Steve Dawes do to persuade the people of Bellevue that he's their boy?
Maybe he can help run Tom Osborne (a repuke and a 1%er) out of Lincoln altogether.
That would assure victory for Socialist Steve Dawes.

Husker assistant coach Ron Brown at the Omaha City Council, where he spoke out against an anti-bias protections for gays and transgender residents.
UPDATE: "As a gay Christian (that bleeds all things Big Red), and a long time season ticket holder that comes with a $1,000 dollar donation each year, I really felt betrayed by Coach Brown's comments," Omaha attorney John Carroll wrote to NU Athletic Director Tom Osborne.
"I can assure you that Ron's comments are reflective of his own views and do not represent those of the Athletic Department or the University," replied Osborne.

The title of Socialist Steve's thread is the first time I've ever heard the term "gay blue chippers".
And a homosexual lawyer who donates the princely sum of $1000 annually has as much influence on the football program as Steve Dawes.
At big time college football programs, $1000 per year will put you so far down the priority list, you won't get a ticket application until most of the stadium is raptured, or you're elected to public office.......hey, wait a minute!

Self avowed and admitted socialist, Steve Daves, who is currently running for Bellevue, Nebraska city council, ward 1, is a socialist?...

Say it ain't so. :-)

I don't know what gay blue-chipping is, and there's no way in hell I'm going to nadin it.
I thought Socialist Steve Dawes had a peculiar fetish for high school girls basketball. Is he also into gay college football players? I suspect the good voters of Bellevue's First Ward would disapprove of a candidate for their city council paying such close attention to 15 year old girls in shorts and 18 year old gay guys.

"As a gay Christian...
No such thing. Might as well say "As a Christian whose profession is breaking and entering..."...
.

Somebody should ask Ol' Steve about his classic meltdown at work the other day.

I was goin' to say, he really thinks a lousy 1,000 bucks is goin' to give him some pull? Bwahahahahahahaha! Damn DUmmies is funny!
1,000 bucks gets ya seat in nose bleed section! Whoopee! He must be alumni! Must really throw his weight around! (snicker!)
Go ahead Stevie! Get some gays in the locker room at Nebraska! I'm sure they would welcome them with open arms! Heh!
Only reason a gay person, (Ihave other words, but we don't wanna upset our chew toy!), would enter the football program in Nebraska, or any other state in fly over country, would be to try for a lawsuit, cause they got their itty bitty feelwins hurt, or to make a political statement like that slut Fluke!
Chomp on that, DUmmies! Oh shit, that was prolly an invitation, wasn't it?

Do tell! I musta missed it! Got a link?

Well, since Socialist Steve Dawes has devoted his life to the pursuit of socialism, teen-aged girl athletes, and a disability pension, I'm very surprised to hear it alleged that he was at work.

So....come on...what's up with this?

Probably in ref. to his tirade at the car salesman.
That was a while ago, but, still valid.
