White House Works to Shape Debate Over Health Law
The White House has begun an aggressive campaign to use approaching Supreme Court arguments on the new health care law as a moment to build support for the measure seen as President Obama’s signature legislative achievement, hoping to shape public opinion on an issue at the center of the battle for the White House and Congress.
On Wednesday, White House officials summoned dozens of leaders of nonprofit organizations that strongly back the health law to help them coordinate plans for a prayer vigil, press conferences and other events outside the court when justices hear arguments for three days beginning March 26.
The advocates and officials mapped out a strategy to call attention to tangible benefits of the law, like increased insurance coverage for young adults. Sensitive to the idea that they were encouraging demonstrations, White House officials denied that they were trying to gin up support by encouraging rallies outside the Supreme Court, just a stone’s throw from Congress on Capitol Hill.

How is this not a violation of the "separation" between the church and the state?
-
DU says we should revoke a church's tax exempt status if they get involved in politics.
-
There is no such thing as "separation of church and state."
That said, it is in poor taste and shows a lack of respect for the Supremes.
-
They are praying outside and holding court inside...ergo separation of church and state in DUmmie eyes...for this case.
If this were an abortion case, praying on a Swiss mountain top after dark on Sunday wouldn't be enough separation to satisfy them.

How many of those "leaders" that he met with received waivers for ObamaCare. That is one of the arguments that need to be brought before the voters this year, not just the USSC. They quit counting the waivers around 1300 or so waivers, many to backers of of the abomination called ObamaCare.
-
Propaganda, pure and simple.
Obama called on orgs that want Obamacare...He did NOT call on religious organizations.
That means this is a visual only symbol to fool the people. They will give only an appearance of prayer, but no real entreaties to any diety I know.
Like all communists, Obama despises real people of faith.

NOW they want to "shape public opinion?" Now? The majority despised it then and despise it now, with consistent thumbs-down at 60% or so, according to Rasmussen ever since the pile of shit came into being. This whole thing is a stupid stunt, and creepy as well. Prayer? Does the DUmp know about this?
