Title: Chanting "USA, USA, USA" is racist.
Post by: JohnnyReb on March 07, 2012, 12:18:22 PM
In liberal crap blue......

A local school district is apologizing after an apparent incident of racism at a boys high school basketball game this past weekend.

When the final whistle blew Saturday, Alamo Heights celebrated a convincing victory over San Antonio Edison.

Alamo Heights Head Coach Andrew Brewer said he was proud of his team. … But it was just after the trophy presentation when the coach was not proud of the chant coming from Alamo Heights fans.

“USA, USA, USA,” they chanted.

The horror. Since the charge of “jingoism” doesn’t carry any weight beyond the New York Times’ readership, the players have been denounced as “racist.” Punishment has been swift and severe:

Alamo Heights has apologized to [San Antonio Independent School District] and the students identified will also have to apologize and have been banned from the state title games.

You can get the rest at.... moonbattery.com ...scroll down and look for the Alamo.

Sam Houston, Col. Travis, Jim Bowie, Davy Crockett are ashamed.

unbelieveable that we have gotten to the point where displaying national pride is considered an act of racism.

What the article fails to point out that the minority kids who are insulted by hearing the horrific chants of "USA, USA" are being educated courtesy of the US Taxpayers.  Perhaps they should seek their education is a less racist country.

I saw Juan Williams on Fox whining about this.

I wanted to step through the TV screen and kick his liberal balls up to his whiny little throat.

While chanting USA USA USA.

If the other team was proud of their country, they could have just joined in the U.S.A. chant.

OK...

I think there might be a point here.

I could be wrong here but are the kids from San Antonio Edison illegal aliens?

I mean are they not Americans?

If they are Americans I'm not sure that this was a good idea.

I also understand the dangers of being too PC. Also, I have no problem with patriotism

But this... I guess I just don't understand the point.

Maybe "Alamo Heights" might not sound right as a chant.

Here's the kicker.  The other team is also from the US.  They just have a large number of minorites at that school so the P.C. police deem it racist to chant USA, USA.

Apparently the minorities fromthe other school aren't proud of their country.

So, what you are saying is the other team, though they are from the U.S.A. aren't proud of it. Kind of like Moochelle owebuma.

Kids got told to change their shirts with an American flag on it on Cinco De Mayo.

That's not even an official Mexican Holiday IIRC.

The school thought it was insensitive toward their Mexican ancestry students.  Our schools are destroying America.

With the help of the NEA, and who knows how many illegal immigrant students.

I suppose it was just a matter of time.

I knew I wasn't going to agree with everyone everytime.

I don't even understand how that karma thing works.

But I was hoping that if someone who had that ability would at least bounce it off me first.

Don't worry about the karma thing.

The best way to get more bitch slaps is to whine about it when you get one.

In my opinion you can ignore the karma system. I rarely if ever use it, I will only use the "like" karma feature. I would much rather post a reply that let my sentiments be expressed in plain sight. I think not to, is somewhat, to a lot, cowardly.
