I called 911 again today, this time for a mother on the shoulder with her baby.

I do not call 911 for every car on the side of the road. I realize that the CHP are buissy.

About two weeks ago, it was raining, and about 5 cars had pulled over on the center divide which was a narrow shoulder no larger then one lane. people were out of their cars, I can only guess to exchange insurance companies. It occured to me like a dangerous situation because the traffic before the accident was moving at 65 to 70mph, and only slowed to 50 right next to the accident. Did I mention it was raining? That might not seem like a big deal to some of you, but in California, People forget how to drive when it rains. After I safely passed I pulled over and called. the 911 operator was courtious as I relayed the situation and that it seemed like no one was hurt, but it also seemed like a dangerous situation. She thanked me and said they would send some one.

Today I called again. This time it was not raining. a single gray Pris on the right shoulder well out of traffic. A mother with a baby on her shoulder was standing on the other side of the gaurd rail rocking the baby. l don't know if there were any other kids in the car as I went by too fast, but this glimps caused me to think: "What if that were my wife? What if that were my child? What if her cell phone was dead?" Again I pulled over and called 911. I relayed the situation and location. Again the operator was courtious and said they would send some one to check on her.

After I continued on my way, I saw 3 more cars that seemed to be broken down on the shoulder. one of them had a male driver, the other two were empty. I didn't call. None of thouse seemed like dangerous situations.

I'm not sure why I'm telling you this except to say that I wish that people cared more about each other. Especially children who are killed in auto accidents more then any other cause of death. I love my family, and I love yours too even though I don't know you.

Blessed be,

A lady stranded on the side of the road with a baby. Don't know if she had a phone to call for help. What's the solution? Call the gubmint! Don't stop to check on her. Don't offer her your phone. Don't ask if she needs a ride. The conservative method would likely have been to stop and give a hand.

Of course the DUmmy receives lavish praise for its magnanimity towards those in need.

5. I can only hope if I'm stuck on the side of the rode that you happen to drive by. You're right; we

need a lot more people on the roads just like you.

6. I think it's wise

to get out of the car and on the other side of the guard rail. It's what I've always told my Wife and kids to do.

And yes, it was nice of you to call.

What a guy/gal!

Me too.  I saw your side get absolutely giddy about Andrew Breitbart's death.  ::)  You all make me sick.

You know, your car could be burning and I would pull you from it.  I wouldn't be like, "Oh, F*** that, that asshole has an Obama 2012 sticker... let him die!"  I'd save you from that burning vehicle because I'm a human being trying to save another human being.

So he'll call for a woman with a baby, but not for a man in the car?  What if the man pulled over because he was having chest pain?  Maybe the woman was out there rocking her baby because it had been screaming in the car and she was jut trying to calm it down?

In those 2 scenarios, who need the help more?

I'll adnit, I don't stop very oftern, but mostly that's cause I"m a female and it's not exactly safe (plus I'm worthless mechanically), but I can't count how many times my husband has called to say he's helping someone change a tire or push a car off the road or something.

That is liberalism in a nut shell.

From the NILV (New Inetrnational Liberal Version) of the Bible,
Matthew 25:
35 For I was hungry and you demanded food stamps, I was thirsty and you demanded a government subsidy for free water, a stranger and you petitioned the government to welcome me.
36
I was naked and you gave me free birth control at taxpayer expense, ill and you called for single payer, in prison and you sent me healing white light, and pictures of your hand.

I mean, the visual.  Come on.   :lmao:  And yeah, that is so theft-worthy.  With attribution.

As for the OP.  The only thing running through my mind reading that was, "are you ****ing kidding me?"

I was naked and you gave me free birth control at taxpayer expense...yep, one look at and a good sniff of DUmmie wymins and it's limper than kite string.

Speaking of kite string, it's windy today....and I haven't seen a simple kite in a country store in years and years. Used to get a paper kite for a dime and 250 feet of string for a nickle, tear up some old rags for a tail and spend all afternoon in the pasture just watching it float up there. Would kids today spend more than a few minutes flying a kite? ....if in November we tell Obama to go fly a kite, will he know how?

It just makes my blood boil that this POS didn't stop and offer to help! ****in' asshole! It might be an hour or more before a cop can get their! Because Kalifornica is so ****in' broke, the CHP is bein' run ragged! What do ya 'spose is the cause of that, DUmbass?

I stop and offer my services every time I see someone in distress. Around here many slide into a snow bank in the winter. If you called 911, that person might freeze to death or die of carbon monoxide poisoning because they don't realize their exhaust pipe is restricted due to the snow!

Since I drive a 4x4 dually that weighs over 2 tons, I can pull 'em out and save 'em a tow bill! Bet this "good Samaritan" never even thought of that possible expense!

Doesn't Kalifornica tow every car off if it's their more than 24 hours?

These heartless bastards would let ya die rather than take the time to get outa their car!

Somehow, LIBERAL and COMPASSIONATE do not seem to belong on the same page, much less in the same sentence.

Compassionate Liberal: Liberal demands that government reach into your pocket, extract money, deduct handling fees and do whatever for whoever after some extended period of time has elapsed.

Compassionate Conservative: Conservative reaches into his own pocket, extracts his own money or bends his own back to help do whatever for whoever needs it right now.
