This isn't much of a thread. The half-dozen or so bitter-enders who rermain holed up at the old DUmp have become crashing, numbing bores.
I brought it over simply because the old DUmp is so easy to copy and paste, compared to the awkward, difficult format of DU3.
These last gasping holdouts hate the new DUmp no less than I do.

I gave DU3 a shot yesterday. This morning I saw an interesting (not mine) thread locked...
At the bottom of the OP I find:

What would be the point of posting in a forum where, the minute you start swaying people to your point of view, the discussion can be shut down by an over-the-top troll like SidDithers?

The old DU's like an island where once it was 4500 square feet above water.
Now it's submerged to where there's only circa 6 square feet above water.
Sinking.
I can hardly wait until the reactionary brain-damaged primitive who can't deal with change has to get with the program, and swim over to the new Skins's island.

Nearly every one of the old cowboy movies would have a scene where someone fell into quicksand.
I grew up thinking the American West was littered with patches of deadly, undetectable quicksand.
The unlucky victim, usually a villain, would suddenly be trapped to his knees, and then slowly, inexorably sink, while shouting for help, until all that was left was his floating black cowboy hat and a few bubbles.
White-hatted victims would always be discovered and thrown a lifesaving rope.
The lunatics remaining at the old DUmp are at about armpit level, and they all wear black hats.

Then there's no point. I've been online from the first day we had access to AOL dialup, and so far I've seen not a single thread in any forum where even one person's opinion was changed. Zero.
People go to an online forum for information, or entertainment, or to simply state their opinion, but I've yet to see a debate where anyone changed their mind in the slightest way about anything.
Even among half-witted lunatics like the DUmpmonkeys, no one is ever persuaded to change.
