Title: Andrew Breitbart, One of the Original FReepers
Post by: mrclose on March 01, 2012, 10:13:16 PM
Even though I no longer post over at the FR, I do scan the site regularly and came upon this interesting tribute to Breitbart on Freerepublic with links to some of his posts.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2853378/posts

I hope that I am not violating the TOS of this site by posting the link!?

(Sure would like to last longer here than I did there!   :???:)

It takes a lot to get banned here. Sort of.  Certain things earn an instant banning, but posting a link to FR isn't one of them.

^^what thundley4 said.

There's some here who've had bad experiences with freerepublic, but on the whole, no problem linking to them.

By the way, welcome, sir.

Interesting.  I never knew he was an FR member, but it should have been obvious.  I think everyone to the right of Dan Quayle has registered at FR at some point.

Wow, great find. I still go to FR a lot but don't post as much. I've been going there since Drudge used to link to it as "Whitewater file" or something like that.

I've probably read his postings and never knew it.

Thank You for the welcome!

Count me as one of those who have had bad experiences on FR!

I say 'experiences' as in plural because I am the King of being banned over there! :bawl:

NOT because of being a troll or anything but because my politics didn't always agree with the 'Viking Kitties'!

FR has become the "Not So Free Republic" lately with Mass Zottings

Wanted to add a little more of an explanation to my other post about the FR.

I use to get upset when I would get banned for not agreeing politically with the Self-Appointed JRob boot licker's and I would re-up as a different user name. (hence the King of Ban reference)

I was an original member from around 1999 and always contributed to the money marathons.
This last time, due to the 'zotting marathon'.. I posted that IF I wasn't allowed my opinion on what candidate I supported, I would no longer contribute!

Instant Zot by the "Viking Kitties"! :)

Welcome mrclose.
When I first scanned your online name I thought it read "mclrose" ( in my head I pronounced it Mackelrose).

I use the rule on jokes, 1st use is with attribution, 2nd use, it's yours.
As for Breitbart, Greg Gutfeld did an excellent 1 hour RedEye dedicated to Andrew. Great guests, great clips of Andrew. A really funny one liner about a sex fiend who has sex with his wife once Maybe twice a week. A wonderful show by GG, and RedEye.

Gutfeld is is a funny guy and a Great host .. even if he was a columnist for the HuffPo at one time!

BTW: Should a 'guy' use the word "wonderful"? :hyper:

That's good to know, since I just got banned for posting up about Breitbart on "Snipershide.com".I was one of the very few actually Military snipers there anyway. Most were just people with Black Guns, and fascination with military or police sniping, and never could or did qualify or earn the title from anywhere.
I guess they are so afraid of DHS, with good reason, that anything political, even in the miscellanios forum that was know as the Bear Pit, for generaldiscussion, would attract massive amounts of attention from the Holder DHS Potential Domestic Terrorist strike team.

I have know of several sites that were unfreindly to Obama and got shut out of servers and eventually shut down just for being critical of the Black King and his degenerate apostles. They weren'tthreatening, or potentially violent, but dissent is not tolerated by this administration, especially when based to truth and it becomes effective.
