Title: Andrew Breitbart (1969-2012)
Post by: bijou on March 01, 2012, 08:16:28 AM
Andrew passed away unexpectedly from natural causes shortly after midnight this morning in Los Angeles.

We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.

Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.

Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:

I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and—famously—I enjoy making enemies.

Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands—who knows?—of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

Andrew is at rest, yet the happy warrior lives on, in each of us.

Have you ever seen this crap that people tweet to him on Twitter?  It was vile, disgusting and just plan psychotic.  I wouldn't be surprised if someone did kill him.  They shouldn't say "natural death" without an autopsy.  I totally agree with Beck.

They are making themselves loooooooook very bad.

Read Drudge.  It appears that Matt may have been crying as he wrote the four-line tribute at the top of the page.  (I would be, if I had been as close as Drudge was to Breitbart.)

Exactly.  It could be any form of disease or physical problem.  It could be heart attack, undiagnosed cancer, aneurysm (brain, heart or somewhere else).  There are many things that can get you surprisingly but naturally.  My son died at 7 from natural causes.

Oh, I'm under the understanding that excessive is the operative term for all operations in hell.  It's just has no negative connotation there, at least in this context.  I can just imagine all of the lesser demons trying to out do one another with the tortures they invent for their guests.

As you may have seen on Hannity, Steve Bannon said the Big's will carry on and relaunch under a master Big umbrella on Sunday night.  And they will be releasing the Obama tapes in 10 or so days.  I think there is a fullblown betallion ready to continue Andrew's fight.  And I will be right there with them.

This is great news. I was hoping that the Big's would continue. They provide excellent commentary, especially Big Hollywood (which is my favorite). What a great way to continue Andrew's legacy. He provided the blueprint for battling the libs, and the rest of us can use it.
