I saw this story posted on our local Fox website.

He said he made it to his home on Quincy Avenue when one suspect physically barred him from entering. The second suspect grabbed a red gallon gasoline can and said, "This is what you get."
The second teen then used a light to ignite the gasoline, which "produced a large fireball burning the face and hair" of the victim, according to a Kansas City Police Department report.
The boy's 36-year-old father said he wants to prosecute the suspects.
The boy is white. The two suspects are black. Police are reportedly investigating whether this was a hate crime.
Of course it's a hate crime. But you better triple check. ::)

The only surprise, to me, is that there's any media coverage of this at all.
Had it been two white teens setting a black teen on fire, the entire ****ing world would've descended on Kansas City like a load of bricks.

For real, dude? Do you post anything but one-liners? Trust me, we're experts at it. You're one step up from posting "Kick and Return". People like Snugs has more words in one post than you do in probably 50. Not accusing, just saying it's highly suspect. It's extremely "molish".

Feel free to employ karma as you see fit. If that doesn't satisfy you, then if you want something in the way of expounding, I shall do my best to elaborate as needed. Brevity is the soul of wit -Rush Limbaugh- Why say in many words what you can say in few ? -Me- Does the pm system work on this site ? That would seem like a better way to have handled this, but alas too late. I stand behind every post, if you have some question about any or all, have at it. My conservative bona fides are unassailable.

I am all for women in the military that can pull their own weight. I would hold men to the same standard. As an aside I never did understand why PT standards are lower for women.
Anyway, my personal standards took quite a beating my last few years in the military. I attended the infamous tailhook. My friend who was the accused groper had his career ruined before he had a chance to exonerate himself (GrBo). The Commanding officer of the Blue Angels (Cdr S.) had his career ruined when he had his command taken away as a result of unfounded accusations.
Every attendee was interrogated by the IG. It seems that an inordinate percentage of attendees had their careers stunted compared with their contemporaries who did not attend.
In the end not one accusation could be founded, just a lot of career carnage left in the wake. There is more of the tale that I could tell, but the end result for me was, if I saw an unknown female servicemember coming towards me I ducked away far prior to the time we would be close enough to make out each others features or descriptions. I never wanted them to be able to pick me out of a lineup (like they did my friend) just because they recognized me from some previous chance encounter. The ones I worked with on a daily basis, I made sure never to be alone with. Somewhat cowardly, but the almost daily assault of "sexual harassment" training beat me down I must admit. Besides, I came to realize that the tear faucet worked with a lot of superiors.

Where do you get liberal from ? I don't think there is one post you can point to that shows the least little bit of liberalism coming from me. I have posted absurdity to illuminate liberal absurdity, but if you can't discern that difference you're not much of a conservative yourself, now are you ?

We have several, and I do mean several, moles at DU posing as true and blue libs, who had many hearts at DU. They're conservative through and through. Just saying. As for my being a conservative, see, CC isn't like DU. I'm more libertarian on social matters, but VERY conservative on fiscal and military matters. We don't walk lock-step here. What we "do" do, is respond to other's text with something other than the equivalent of "cool story, bro".
Like I said, I hope I'm wrong. If I'm not, who cares? Libs aren't banned here on sight. If you're a conservative, and not playing us, fine. We don't really care if you're playing us. ALL opinions are allowed here until they become trollish and constantly disruptive. You're no where near that, so there's nothing to worry about.

Other white students also report a pattern of racial harassment at the high school at the hands of their peers — and, shockingly, their teachers.
Two of these victims were the twin 14-year-old daughters (first names withheld upon request) of Karin Wildeisen. Ever since their family relocated from Texas, they had endured racial animosity in the Kansas City school system and inappropriate behavior by staff, which included teachers laughing while boys humiliatingly manhandled the girls and a teacher slapping one of them on the backside. But there was far worse to come.
The twins started coming home and talking about the goings-on in an advanced-English class taught by a teacher Wildeisen identifies as Ms. Veda Monday. Wildeisen said that her daughters told her, “There are four white kids in the class; they are being targeted racially.†They said that Monday, who is black, was feeding the class racial material, about which Wildeisen notes, “She’s teaching advanced English; she has no reason to be teaching civil rights.â€
But then there was the straw that broke the camel’s back. One day, Monday allegedly showed an explicit film involving portrayals of whites lynching blacks and then, reports ex-Texan Wildeisen, “in front of the class attacked my daughters, telling them that ‘everybody from Texas is ignorant rednecks’†and that all white people were “responsible for Jasper because [their] skin is white.†This reference is to an atrocity in Jasper, TX, in which three white men murdered a black man in 1998.
