For some unfathomable reason, nutcase nadin is upset that Mitt Romney drives a Mustang and a pickup truck.
Suffice to say.

Ah yes Romney the 1 percenter...
So was driving back from an assignment... and here is the news at the top on NPR... yup he had that almost empty event... but here is the kicker.... the poor man drives a Mustang and a pickup and his wife a couple of Cadillacs...
And here I am, driving a 20+ truck (which is in extremely good shape) and hubby uses the hybrid since he is driving further. There is more, it makes more economic sense for me to TAKE public transportation than pay the gas and parking downtown.
I know... Mitt you are truly one of us...
Now on to write a story.

And I'll bet it's a great story.
So Mitt Romney, an extraordinarily successful businessman, should have vehicles no better than nutcase nadin, an absolutely unproductive lunatic, who's unemployable due to her mental derangement.
And the real issue, the elephant in the room, goes unmentioned. He may have nice cars, but does he have a Good Rig? I doubt it.

2. The President, I get it... security and all that
but this man keeps telling us how he is one of us. How many vehicles do you personally drive? I mean I have two... and if one of them breaks down we will be in trouble. This man has a main vehicle and ready spare...
This pathetic nutcase thread is as embarrassingly lame as a Pam Dawson effort. She appears to be testing the water as she returns to the loony bin from her recent whine-a-thon.
-
Suffice it to say, she is an incoherent weirdo.
-
And Kerry proudly drove two SUVs. Unless he was in front of the Sierra Club, then those SUVs belonged to his wife.
-
Again, my question.. WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL?
The guy is admitting he bought American. Isn't that what you douchebags are always complaining about when people purchase Toytoa's (made in America, but not the right badge for you apparently...)
You're jealous.
I laughed at his two Cadillac's comment. Sweetheart, if we had Romney's money, I wouldn't own a Cadillac. My two cars (if I only could pick two) would both the following: Jaguar XF-R (510 hp -- about $82,000) and a Nissan GT-R (545hp -- $100,000)
-
A Mustang and a pickup? That's the worst example of conspicuous consumption they can find in a guy with his money?
Shoot, if I had that much money I'd have a collection of vintage Detroit muscle, plus at least a couple of Ferraris, a couple of Mercs, maybe a Lamborghini, and several motorcycles. And that's not even starting on aircraft and watercraft.
Down here, even your most basic redneck can have a 'Stang and a pick-em-up. Of course, one or both may spend some time jacked up on blocks in the front yard, but still...
:-)

If I had that kind of money, I would probably still go Cadillac. The CTS-V Wagon is my dream ride, who can argue with a 565hp station wagon.

I wouldn't. That's the ULTIMATE soccer mom wagon.
Hey nada,
I own 5 vehicles. 2 for mail delivery, a pickup, another small SUV that can serve as a backup to the first 2, and a BIG ASS SUV with a BIG ASS V-8 in it to tow my camper. It's also my wife's daily driver. All are over 8 years old, all have over 100k miles, the first 4 have over 200k, one of those is within 20k of 300K. It's easy to make a vehicle last in Kalifornia, try doing it here in the mountains of Virginia.
SO, just how many do I really need? Here's a hint: It's NONE OF YOUR g'damed business!!!! :evilbird:
-
With that kinda money, I'd hunt down and buy back my '56 T-Bird, my '49 and '51 Mercs, and then I'd just have fun............
-
And before Obama was president, he drove a Ford Escape hybrid and a Chrysler 300C -- So ?
-
Coupe Deval Patrick.... paging Coupe Deval Patrick. Could you pick up the DU misfits' courtesy phone please.
-
I'd get a 36 Yellowfin fully loaded electronically. Probably a used 50ish battle wagon. Last but not least a 21 Intruder skif.
A good truck and a commuting car
-
I have:
Running
A classic truck (V8-283)
A work truck (V8-383)
A convertible (V8-472)
A motor home (V8-360)
A four wheel drive (V8-383)
A trail bike (90cc)
A street bike (1200cc)
Working on running
A convertible (V8-302)
A sports car (V8-4.2ltr)
A trail bike (90cc)
IMHO, if ain't got eight it ain't.
Yes, I have a monkey on my back. Just think of all the weed I could have bought instead of those vehicles.

My husband wants one of those.

I dunno, I would still keep my Silverado LTZ, but I think I would have to look at an Audi A8 for back and forth to work.

The longer drive has nothing to do with it. Judging from the pictures I've seen of nads, this boils down to a payload problem.

And it's practical, too!

Does public transportation make you pay for two seats like on the airlines?

Might as well be able to outrun Smokey and still be safe! How can ya miss with a 1/2 million dollar car? Even if they catch you, you'd be able to buy yourself out anyway.

She's driving a 20-year old truck in glorious comrade socialist state of Kalifornuckistan? Double plus ungood, nads!!!

I may not be a great fan of Gov. Romney - but he's far closer to being 'one of us' than nadin will ever be.

Nice car but I want to be comfortable, fast and safe while I am outrunning Smokey. :-)

Just like all the rich liberals who paid $35k to have dinner with obozo a few weeks ago when he was in California to grab as much money as he could and **** up the evening commute are one of you.
Just like that asshole bill maher who donated $1 million to obozo's superPAC are one of you.
go write a story about that...
