A particular poster is filling GD with really low-brain, salacious, tabloid crap.

No one would accuse me of being a prude, but it strikes me as, well, just plain dumb and poor-taste stuff.

Does anyone really want to see this in GD?

6. Ignore and Trash Can are great tools and are designed to cut down on threads like this one. There's also Alert, if a post doesn't meet the SOP or community standards.

8. This whole place has become a cesspool of sheer gratuitous nastiness, baiting, mockery, shiny objects, and corporate/neocon/right-wing talking points. And, yes, those things all go together. DU has become a faux discussion board just like the faux media outlets of the mainstream media. It is all mean-spirited distraction and no substance.

The old DU is gone. Too many good people are gone.

I'm afraid it's over.
