Your world view is bout greed is good...that's freedom
Ours is about the we, as in we the people.

4. Well good morning. Might one suggest an edit or two?
'differently' rather than 'different'
'about' rather than 'bout'
Later on, in another post, 'bated' (meaning moderate, restrain, or hold - as in 'bated' breath) rather than 'baited' (often used when discussing fishing, trapping, or hunting)
I heard an interesting tidbit in a movie a couple of days ago, that blog writing is like graffiti with punctuation. One might expect more from a trained historian, self described reporter, author and the like.

5. Thanks for the kick

7. Does this mean you are not going to make the suggested corrections?
One would think a self-proclaimed 'trained' historian, writer, gamer, rock climbing afficionado, radiation fallout expert, reporter, editor, et al would want *all* the writings seen by the public to be correct, but maybe not.
I can recall when the wrong king was given credit for the battle at Normandy (Agincourt) and it was pointed out, but the error remained. Is it because the rabble don't really have the training and insight required?

“…After all we are not even talking of Richard V and his invasion of Normandy (and Agincourt)... now that IS ancient history….â€
But on the other hand, this is another 'kick'.
Whoa. nadin made that error? It's a pretty big one, too; one's not aware of any "Richard V" of England.
"Richard III" was as high as it got, before it quit more than 500 years ago.

8. Thanks once again for the kick.
I love you man. Will you keep kicking all messages? Good... While at it go ahead and rec too.

9. One does what one can to keep all 'them' errors up front. No need to 'rec'
if we keep them up front on GD. But I do miss 'unrec'.

10. Thanks again for the kick
I love it when the goading becomes kicks.
Go on.

11. Goading has always required a 'kick'. Some of the goading can be avoided by a little review time prior to pressing 'submit', maybe an edit or two.
Accuracy can be its own reward.

13. You could keep this on page 1 much longer if you would wait about minutes to respond, instead of thanking me right away.

No way will she correct it now.
Not in a million years. :lmao: :rotf:

I wonder what happened to all the "thems". For a while there was hardly a sentence without a misused "them". I guess they've been replaced by all them "suffice to says".

Pffffft! The left could care less about "we the people." To libs, it's all about "we the freeloaders."

You know, this campfire is so good, so awesome, so remarkable, in that it exhibits all the principal characteristics of primitivity, I'm considering using it as the textbook example when I get around to writing a guidebook illuminating the primitives how to post on Skins's island, Skins's island for DUmmies.
One is constantly amazed at that the primitives fail to grasp that, because of their overweening arrogance, their utter selfishness, their willful ignorance, they deserve to be mocked and ridiculed.
The primitives haven't gotten a tenth of what they deserve for being such rectal apertures.
And one's sort of bothered at times that decent and civilized people are hesitant about mocking and ridiculing the pompous asses, when in fact we all have a moral imperative, a social obligation, a duty, a responsibility, to do exactly that, for the Greater Good, for the betterment of humanity, to make this world a better place.

I think that may have been a "crunchy" kick, in the nads.
