Desperate for jobs, youth flee Obama
Obama, who won 66 percent of the 24 million voters age 18-29 in 2008, has seen that support slashed. And in a new poll from Generation Opportunity, a nonprofit that seeks to engage younger voters, only 31 percent approve of Obama’s handling of youth unemployment, a number that threatens to rob him of the voter group that pushed him to victory.

I don't expect the economy to improve much (if at all) in the next eight months, but "youth" are notoriously fickle and stupid. Maybe after their 99 weeks of unemployment checks run out, they won't be so excited to vote for him again.

Time will tell, but I'll not hold my breath.

They're far too easily swayed by emotional arguments, but perhaps there will be a good number of them who were big activists in 2008 that now realize it's a "F* me once, shame on you, f* me twice, shame on me" and will dull the impact of the young-and-gullible vote.

One of the things the youths are going to have to be informed about is how minimum wage raises going back decades are contributing to the youth unemployment.

Something that has always bothered me about the minimum wage. If the libs set it, then complain that it is impossible to live off of, why do conservatives get blamed. And If I were a lib, why would I stop at a low number. Keep it going until every minimum wage worker is a millionaire. Libs think money goes on trees.

Doubt the yute vote will veer towards the Republicans, but they're likely to sit on their asses on Election Day. In that fashion, they'll still be emulating Dear Leader, who sits on his ass every day he's not playing golf.

That action is all that is needed, IMO.

We just can't let Obama have a second term. I'm not sure who's better but almost anyone is better than him. :nobong:
