Title: Hello from a newbie
Post by: EagleKeeper on February 15, 2012, 01:30:00 PM: I found this site because of the DUmp.

I have been "studying" the folks over at DU since about 2004 when I signed up for WWIIonline and started to participate in their off-topic forum.

I found out about this site in the DU help and meta forum and was delighted by what I found.

I don't know how prolificate I will be but I will value the ability to post here.

I'm positive Guiness was brewed just for Ireland. Anyone who's been to the UK and seen their miserable weather can attest. Even the BBC weather service distinguishes between "grey clouds" and "white clouds".

Having it would be one thing. Keeping everyone out of it when you went to use it would be another. If I saw it vacant, I would make a high speed beeline over to it.

My dogs already do that. Then they look at me like I'm the putz for being slow in getting to the freakin' chair. :lmao:
