Another "Hallmark" holiday.

Nowadays it's more like a "proflowers/sheri'sberries/pajamagram" kind of day.

Thanks!  you too!

just went to Bass Pro and bought hubby and son $20 lures.  They have wanted them and been salivating over them for awhile so I bit the bullet.  They will lose them first cast  ::)

Before I met my wife, I used to say that although Cuipd used a bow and those little cherub wings on most people, he strapped himself into an A-10 when I was concerned. ::) :o :whatever:

Hope everyone had a happy V day.  CG, you're sweet. :blowkiss:

Husband and I are going out to a nice steak restaurant tomorrow evening when they won't be crowded and can concentrate on us more.  I watch alot of Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares, and it's given me a whole new appreciation of how stressed out the chef can be on a day like today.

Happy you're going out!  I enjoy the Ramsey shows alot also.

We stayed in and I cooked:

     Steamed Crab w/melted butter
Sauteed Shrimp w/garlic butter and cooked angel hair pasta
     Baked Potatoes w/Top the Tator
     Garlic/onion bread.

No room for vegies.

This is our 24th anniversary today - 2012 Valentines Day.

My best to all.   :cheersmate:

Congratulations on the first 24!! :cheersmate:  Your dinner sounds great, and yeah, for me veggies are more a decoration than a necessary part of any dinner.  We routinely skip them, except for the obligatory green bean casserole on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I think those kinds of shows are much more uplifting than anything politicians say or do, generally speaking of course.

You're just a young 'un like the rest of us to couples like this. :cheersmate:

Wow, what a great story at that link.  Just image being married for 3/4 of a century.  Good on them!  My grandparents were like that.  Married very young, had 8 kids and numerous (90+grandkids) and ended their days in the old folks home in the late 1960's.
