Title: Santorum Is Within 2 Points of Romney in California
Post by: pissant on February 13, 2012, 09:10:38 PM
The first GOP presidential poll taken in California in 2012 shows Mitt Romney leading Rick Santorum by just 2 percentage points, which is well within the survey’s 4.6-point margin of error. The poll, taken by SurveyUSA, shows Romney with 33 percent support and Santorum with 31 percent support. Newt Gingrich is in third place, with 17 percent support, while Ron Paul has 9 percent support.

SurveyUSA divides the Golden State into four regions. Romney leads Santorum by a wide margin in the San Francisco Bay Area (33 to 18 percent), and he also leads in Greater Los Angeles (34 to 29 percent). The two candidates are essentially tied in the Inland Empire

I'm enjoying Romney's flailing, to say the least.

I sure hope he can pull through.  My favorite of them all.

To conservatives well, to THIS conservative, anyway, he is the least objectionable of the whole gaggle of walking cluster****s left in the primary.  To the RINO factions of the GOP, he's the anti-Christ made flesh.  I sure hope he's got the staying power to keep the cocksuckers at bay.

This is a good thing.

Just for clarity on my part the "severe" quote is Romney's.

Santorum is a big improvement over Romney but I just do not think he can stand up to Obama and the Democrats like Newt can. It will get interesting if it winds up as a brokered convention. Palin is still my first choice.

I would LOVE to see Andrew Breitbart as press secretary.  Tony Snow pissed them off to no end.  That would be a great idea.

I like your thinking.  But I'd prefer Mark Levin as spokesman.  And if we need a chick in the balance, Palin for DOE chief & Michelle Malkin as head of Homeland Security

Hope you won't mind a suggested modification from across the pond.

I liked him until I saw that CNN thing about amniocentis and abortions.  I had a 1:8 shot of downs with my daughter and had the procedure done and it's expensive.  I would not have aborted but I would have liked to know what I was up against after the birth.  His idea would have caused me to pay out of pocket and I wouldn't be able to afford that so I would have gone a whole pregnancy thinking my baby would be sick or die at birth.  At least give people the right to practice their morals and not dictate what they should be.  We all meet our maker and are judged at the end of life.

Getting into these social issues like abortion and birth control is not a winning strategy. He alienates many women when he does and should stick to the economy. That is the winning ticket to defeating Obama.

That my be why Team Obama decided that now was a good time to bring abortion to the forefront of the news.

Hope you won't mind a suggested modification from across the pond, i.e., UN Ambassador gig left open due to redundancy.

I like the way you think.  :cheersmate:

since its here for now, i thought we needed to throw Bolton back in the ring

I think you are spot on. Team Obama is saying mission accomplished. Repubs are not too bright.

Last election owebuma didn't have to run on his record. Now owebuma has a record, and a not very pretty record at that.
