(RNS) Dozens of members of Congress are upset that the Air Force has removed the Latin word for "God" from the logo of an Air Force acquisitions office.
Led by Rep. J. Randy Forbes, co-chairman of the Congressional Prayer Caucus, 36 lawmakers Monday (Feb. 6) sent a letter to Air Force Secretary Michael Donley and Air Force Chief of Staff General Norton Schwartz objecting to the removal of "God" from the logo of the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO).
The logo was recently removed, according to Forbes, after objections by the Military Association of Atheists and Freethinkers.

not faith.....if they argue then insist that the representatives test it themselves by stepping off a 30 story building. After all if their faith is all that is needed to fly then they should be ok.

...with their money, life, or both. Good to see this "contract" with an imaginary being finally dissolved. We've got more to be concerned about in this life than praying, paying, and talking to a non-causal entity.

solarman= typical Christophobic bigot, even while I'm sure he accuses every conservative he sees of being a "Bigot" for one reason or another.

Satan tried to tempt Jesus in that very same way, but Christ wouldn't go for it.
God does indeed love and protect us, but don't expect Him to temporarily suspend the laws of physics just to ensure you don't face the consequences of deliberately doing intensely stupid things.

They see a belief in God as believing in a genie who grants your wishes, they have no clue how a belief in God really works. All they know is, people who believe in God tend to think that there is wrong and right, and they are the ones who want to decide that for us all.
