The last I saw of her, she was commenting about Rick Santorum, sometime late last night (Saturday night).
So she's been on Skins's island recently enough to go back to that campfire she herself lit, and explain herself.

stories before he died. Since both me and my husband have seen some combat, with my husband far more intense, he realized we'd get it.
Some of it involves the resistance, some of it the Russians... and how they dealt with collaborators after liberation.
Suffice it to say if I posted them even edited, there would be pearl clutching all around.
It was a relief though for him to finally tell somebody who'd actually get it. I am sure he never thought that be his daughter. It helped him make his peace I think, or I'd like to think so.
And yes, before anybody says it... war is hell.

You stated the obvious. Yes Annon is made by multiple individuals. Some are black hats, others are not. The common thread is...a drive for social and economic justice.
They are part of this reaction to globalization.
And no, nobdy, not even Scotland Yard or the FBI, (they had a super duper convo intercepted) know how many are part of this movement. Yup, some arrests have been made, but admittedly precious few.
My speculation is that more than a few anon are white hats by day. I got no other explanation as to how good they have been at covering their tracks.

The guy wasn't killed, much less with the U.S. Special Forces in Syria; he flunked out of basic training in a week.
The on-line newspaper that publishes nadin's work retracted the story.
Apparently nadin's been deleting the retractions.

We do not know if this is the same Jay Polk referenced below, but include this information for anyone who may be able to confirm or disprove the connection:

Update February 3, 2012:
Sgt. Polk's death has still not been reported by the Dept. of Defense, nor has any notice of his death appeared in his family's hometown newspaper.
A source has further informed ECM that his name has not been provided for addition to a memorial that honors fallen special services soldiers. Thus at this point, it appears likely that Polk did not die in service overseas. Perhaps he faked his death, or possibly someone else posted misleading information on his Facebook account.....

I'm betting they will only dock her pay. I looked at the website and they are desperate for real meaty stories. There is a lot of fluff, feel good stuff, but little of value. Nadin as least creates the illusion of news.
There are a lot of fake news sites out there on the net. Most exist to promote opinion and lies as legitimate news.
Nadin is using her sumbissions to claim she is a reporter and gain a measure of (imagined) immunity from prosecution.

Here I don't feel deserves more than dog bytes man, news at eleven. After all the actual news was not Mr. Polk, but whether we have spec ops in Syria. We do, but that is not something du can handle.

Well I for one think she's doing a great job as defending DOTY.
Unlike our 2010 DOTY, when nadin finds a ludicrous piece of shit on the internet she doesn't copy and paste it, she calls it "research" and concocts an elaborate story around it.

I've always had a problem with people with the sensitivity of a rock.
I call it the "South Omaha attitude," as some of the most hard, insensitive people I've ever known were from that area. I'd never in my life been up against such a thing until I became a supervisor at a major employer in that city, and the other five supervisors were from south Omaha.
Naturally, I was an outsider in the group, being from the Sandhills and then from Lincoln, the only one with a college degree, the only one who hadn't worked his way up the ladder, the only one who could read and write professionally.
The other four guys were bad enough, but the woman in particular was a hard case. Just totally calloused and insensate, not a drop of the milk of human kindness in her. Not even a mere flinching at things that would considerably upset most other people. Just really hard. At various times I surreptitiously did things, and overtly said things, so as to provoke a human reaction from her.
No matter how down and dirty and mean I got with her, I always failed.
There are rocks masquerading as people, and nadin's one of them.
