Title: If you were Israel, what would you do with regard to Iran?

The consensus amongst the DUmmies seems to be that Israel should hand Iran a "sword", bare their throat, and say "We love you! Be our friend!"

1. Nothing - Ayatollah/Ahmedinajad's rhetoric is just that. They don't really mean it when they announce their desires to eliminate Israel as a country.

2. Nothing - I believe Iran's leaders when they pinky swear that they're not going to build nuclear weapons.

3. Nothing - the UN is on it. We've got nothing to worry about.

4. Nothing - the Obama Administration won't let anything bad happen to us.

5. Nothing - for some other reason.

6. Blow up their facilities - we don't trust anybody and want to take care of matters ourselves.

Even the lightest study of the Iranian leadership, and their belief in the 12th Imam, should lead one to option 6.

But in the world of the dangerously naive?

cause they shouldn't be there in the first place and they cause way way WAY too many problems fighting over their stupid patch of sand.

9. Extend a hand of friendship to all my nieghbors

Ask that everyone leave the past behind and start fresh. Explain that we all have more in common then we realize and that getting along is in the best interest of all. Then I would let my military to stop talking about bombing Iran. Unless someone does this there will never be peace.

La la la happy rainbows and ponies and white light healing will get the Iranian fanatics to find their inner smile!

I have to agree, there is the damned if you do and damned if you don't.

I do not think this will be a one on one street fight, this will become the war Christians have been waiting for over 2,000 years.

We are on the brink, just 2 steps from the cliff of Hell, not our doing to be sure or Israel's. The A-bomb ended a war for America, years later that same technology may just start the mother of all wars. REALITY and SURVIVAL

Wake up call for the Libs, they think their life is hard now, just wait--- Gangreen of the toe, chop the toe off. Do not wait until the disease spreads to the upper leg.

The Jews have gone through millennia of having people say these things about them, and it usually does not end well for the Jews! Now we're supposed to believe that these anti-Semites in Iran don't really mean it? Based on what evidence? I've mentioned before that my Husband isn't political, he votes, but he hates all politicians, yesterday he actually said "I guess Israel is going to attack Iran, they're surrounded by so much hostility that they have to do this, and the world will be safer if Israel attacks Iran". Then we know someone who's a staunch liberal, already has the new Obama/Biden bumper sticker on, she said "Israel has to do it and when they do there'll be peace in that region for 30-40 years".

Seems like the only ones not in reality is DU.

Israel could pack itself up tomorrow and relocate to Antarctica, and they would still be under threat from their hostile neighbors. Mohammad said the Israelites were doomed to wander forever without a homeland, and therefore that condition needs to be manufactured.

Israel's only recourse is to make certain that those hostile to it understand that they will pay for acting upon it and/or its people with malicious intent.

I used to do a lot of business with the Mediterranean countries. The leaders whether in business or government understand little other than might and force. Show them weakness and they will lose all respect for you. It's a 12th century thing that is real. Why do you think that they are on the march against our effeminate president?
