The old DUmp still has a handful of hardcore losers, just a few troglodyte dead-enders, whining and bitching about Skimmer's new pay-to-play DU3.

Poll question: The 400+% price increase for a year at DU is due to...
Personally i been here for years, i see it as a worthless money grab since skinner has chosen not to add any content for the price...
Formally it was a donation, now it is a cover charge...I am just having a bit of trouble figuring out for what?
In the end it is what is it is, bloody shame no new or novel features were added to DU3

The old DU2 is as dead as Crazy Andrea's place. For a poll to get 15 votes, they had to use the Chicago method.

in fact, i've been at first shocked, then puzzled, and now (very) mildly curious/entertained by this whole endeavor (as to, where exactly does it lead?... certainly not the place i'd like to be in (or post in)... )

anyway... my first comment on DU in weeks. the magic/attraction/whatever the f it was is simply -poof - gone;
not bad if you ask me since i was a DU junkie for years.
I personally agree with the whining.
I love seeing the DUmmies screech about the 1% Gestapo juries, and the MIRT liquidation squads.
But DU3 absolutely, totally sucks when it comes to copying to bring over here.
This thread from the old DUmp was so easy to bring over, I really miss it.

Personally, I think he has a right to charge whatever he wants BUT I find it extremely hypocritical that a site, that promotes equality, have a whole bunch of inequality going on.

Enforce inequality to promote equality. (ie., Affirmative Action)

Yeah, in my copious spare time, I'm redoing the apps to work with DU III. Hopefully, it won't be too long.

A couple of days ago, one of the DUmmies posted a chart that showed DUmp traffic down by about a third since DUmpThree fired up.
