I call BS on this poll. The economy is still weak.

True, but the closer we get to November, the better the media will say the economy is doing. The MSM keeps highlighting new jobs that are created, but they can't or won't reconcile those created jobs with new people filing for unemployment or the fact the unemployment rate is nearly steady. That is despite the fact that more and more people are dropping out of the UE rolls.

Yet the Legacy Media is dying and they are so oblivious to it. :mental:

Well, I'm pissy-mystic about it all.

But, but, but it went down .1% IT'S A REBOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thatsright:

Yeah, people will sure be happy about the economy when it tanks again after gas shoots above $4/gal (or more if Amadinnerjacket starts feeling froggy and getting in a real shooting war) and can't even afford to get to jobs that still don't exist.
"Official" unemployment might be at 8.5 percent and SLOWLY declining, but if you used the same workforce participation percentage as we had in 2008, that figure would be above 12 percent right now.
U-6 unemployment is still above 15 percent. Real wages are stagnant at best--and why not? Why would an employer pay more? Why shovel money at employees who have nowhere else to go? Why not save up for 2013/14, when the REAL shitstorm from Obamacare comes ashore, and we really "see what's in the bill", as San Fran Nan told us?
Benefit? I'd love to see how.
Frankly, if Obama IS re-elected, I'll have completely lost faith. The America I knew and was proud of will officially cease to exist.

With the Germans understandably balking at paying for everyone else's Mediterranean villas, I don't really see how Europe is going to avoid a cycle of crises in the Spring and Summer, which is going to do nothing good for anyone in the US except possibly T-bills.
-
The economy is, at best, the same it was 4 - 5 months ago. The media is reporting every story as positive. That helps barack. The revolution should start in the MSM's various headquarters.
-
Just wait until this fall when we read and hear all kinds of new stories on the msm telling us how great things are. :mental:
-
When a Republican is elected in Nov., THEN we will start getting the stories on how bad EVERYTHING is and how the new REPUBLICAN President and his administration is at fault. Don't worry the MSM will kick into high gear with the horror stories then.

Just went into the store the other day. The packaging for meat shrunk again. A 24 ounce package of bacon is now 20 ounces. And the stuff they can't or don't dare downsize anymore is screaming up in price.
Gee, why would that be, Mister "Energy costs will necessarily skyrocket"?
