Brian Williams looked like he stopped at one of those spray tan booths here. Why does everyone think when they come to Florida they have to get an instant tan? I like Newt---he looked properly white and pasty. SR teases me and calls me a pasty white midwesterner. Hey, better than skin cancer.

But I digress. I think that Newt wasn't attacked by the moderator because they're probably afraid to do so. Newt did pretty well, but there wasn't the fireworks as in the other debates. Of course, Brian Williams and the two local Florida folk weren't that sharp and asked some very dumb question.

"Worst debate of the campaign".  NBC isn't getting a lot of love.

And how would one deduct losses?  It's a PAPER loss.  The only time that loss is actually realized is when you sell the house, and then it can be considered a capital loss if the mortgage owed exceeds the sale price.

IMO the reason that this debate came off as boring is, in order to fit the NBC "air window", they didn't allow audience reaction to the speakers (which makes the total length of time consumed unpredictable).........dim bulb moderators notwithstanding, this one was a hell of a lot more professionally done than the CNN debates.

That was the plan by the left wing media to make it a snooze fest. Newt stated he will only participate in future debates if audience  participation is not allowed. The Fox debate was great. Of course, the screwballs at NBC want to control the debate making it as dull as possible while asking idiotic questions.

im late into this conversation

when i saw this happen last night, newt gave his response and it appeared that mitt felt like it as a good answer and couldnt let newt gain anymore traction so mitt just invited himself into the conversation like a little kid who gets no love at home [voice=whiny 3rd grader] "Oh hey guys i just wanted to say that i agree with newt, yeah i want dream act for military volunteers" [/voice]

he definitely knows he cant let newt get a handle on the momentum controls
