Hey Newt, you know what 10.11.75 was?
That was the date, now almost 38 years ago, when Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodham got married.
Sure, they've had their troubles over the years. Yes, Bill was, to it kindly, a rogue. he cheated on his wife. And he tried to keep it quiet. And he never pointed at anyone else while he was doing it. Particularly, he never pointed at anyone else for doing it for the political gain to be had from the pointing.
Bill and Hillary Clinton now have a nice young woman as their daughter and they continue, from all appearances, to thrive as a family, rough spots notwithstanding.
I contrast that with you, Mr. I Want An Open Marriage. I contrast that with you, you philandering piece of shit. I contrast that with you, who divorced Number Two as she was battling cancer. I contrast that with you, who impeached Bill Clinton over an affair, even as you were diddling .... which was it? ..... Number Two? ...... The current Mrs. G, Number Three?

As someone else pointed out, conditions in this country have deteriorated so much since January 20, 2009--and are getting worse--that Republicans could hold orgies every week and the voters aren't going to care. Just so somebody else is in the White House come January 20, 2013.

Well, the old dude probably built, or bought, his estate out in the country; maybe circa the early 1970s, before things got bad under Jimmy Carter.
However, the old dude is a landlord in inner-city Baltimore, and from what he's said before on Skins's island, it was a case of buying up black slum properties and then "gentrifying" them for middle-class whites, what used to be called "yuppies."
On the surface, "gentrification" looks like a good idea; no one likes to see run-down squalid properties.
But on the other hand, where do the people go, who used to live in those places when they were run-down? They certainly can't afford gentrified rent. I'll bet the old dude's displaced a lot of poor blacks, but he doesn't care, because he's a racist.

We're not sure, and so we're watching the situation closely.
It's kind of like the way Kremlin-watchers used to watch the Kremlin.

Yeah, the old dude's wife is too busy with Mrs. Tutweiler down the street, flying off to luxury resorts in Switzerland instead of bringing her husband along, even though he's paying the bills.
There have been unplanned "moratoriums" on the old dude here, sometimes for as long as three or four days, but it's never seemed to make any difference.
What might have made a difference would've been one-week moratoriums on the yenta, but alas such was not to be.
